"Looking for fried chicken but the Colonel is nowhere near you? Well, then this is....n't it. 8,90€ for 5 small, unenthusiatically seasoned chicken wings, some pretty ok fries and salad without dressing. No drinks included. The man selling it was nice enough but it's just not worth the price. Besides, if you want to dine in you're actually dining outside under the S-Bahn, next to an intersection and right beside everyone walking by to catch the bus or the train. But there is nothing the shop can do about that, so it's not really part of my rating."

I've been going there every now and then for six years or so now. It's definitely my go to place for fast food chicken. I particularly like their homemade breading my favorite way to have chicken wings! Service has always been friendly, and prices are absolutely okay for the amount of food you get. Recommended!

Kümes means coop, and chicken is what you get: grilled or, coated with corn flakes, fried in this plain and clean street food stall beneath an Autobahn bridge next to the Steglitz townhall. The whole business is focused on chicken, and so the fowl is luscious, crispy, and very well seasoned. You don't need not go there in person to get your meal, it's easier to order online and receive it at home.
