stadien f was really friendly and the meal was excellent. all foods are cooked to order so that the menu is small, but the quality makes it out. the mini desert with coffee was also beautiful

Really good little cafe in the heart of Toulon. And a bonus the owner speaks fluent English!!Food is delicious and even great for vegetarians! Am counting down till the day I can go back here :

it starts from the first impression of the perfect service and welcome. we have been explained with the complete menu that is not great, but they have a selection of vegetarian, fish, local meat, burger and various desserts.

Visited L 'aparte for lunch while in Toulon for stop on a Mediterranean cruise. I had a chicken burger sandwich that was out of this world. My wife had an unbelievable asparagus dish with an amazing cold zucchini, mint, and almond powder soup. The waiter interpreted...the French menu for us even though he did not speak English as well as waiters in Paris.

This small restaurant is very cosy, small tables in a small room. You feel well! Service is easy going and friedly. We had a menu lunch: a very tasty soupe with vegetable pie and salade. For desert café gourmand. The dish was very tasty and...very much home made , which we really appreciated. Desert was a choice of delicious small bites. The atmosphere was just right for a vegetarian lunch!

The place is very small and cozy, plus it's really easy to find once you are in the old centre. You have only 5 main courses in the menu because they want to give you everything very fresh. The host was very friendly and explained...all the food to us. My husband chose Italian burger and I chose a duck with nuts both were delicious. A good tea with lavender and unbelievably good desserts made me want to stay there forever. Do not miss it if you are in Toulon.

husband and I enjoyed our lunch in this restaurant. located pleasantly among other restaurants on a picturesque side street. away from the harbour area ten minutes to foot or near the market. let them sit in the shadow under sun umbrellas or eat them inside. Husband...has fresh sardines, clothed salad potatoes. I chose the classic Burger food was a good quality. service attentive, although we knew little French, the owners did their best to help with the menu. desserts coffee were excellent would like to visit again if we are able to return to to toulon.

Being on a cruise with 12 hours or less in a port usually means spending some time in advance to finding good out of the way quirky and interesting places to sample local cuisine without the usual restaurant hawkers shouting at you in multiple languages...serving everything to everyone. Well here is one place where we literally happened to be standing under the awning to get out of the rain when I opened my trip advisor app to find us a place to eat while the rain stopped 1st place that popped up near me and was in the top 5 was L 'Aparte and there we were standing under its awning. WE have only just returned from Toulon and for the first time in my life i have joined TripAdvisor as I felt i wanted to add something positive to what i believe is incorrect when people go online to ask about Toulon. Toulon does have...Great food. It is a great city and by god is it changing fast and for the better . I had read the reviews here about this restaurant and decided to visit with Family who live in Toulon. what did we expect ? Simple lunch type food , nothing out of this world etc and not expensive This is what we found ! But do not think simple means Ok the food was Lovely and matched by without any doubt in my mind the friendliest staff/owners ever. We needed up visiting again...
