"We booked this restaurant based on its rating on the fork. We were seated promptly and staff were very friendly. They gave us a good recommendation on a bottle of local wine which was delicious. Unfortunately, that's where the good experience ended. We wanted to order a paella but were told that it was too late as the kitchen closes at 10pm and it took 40 minutes to make it was 9:10pm). The waiter took great pride in saying it was made fresh, not from frozen. Fine, we looked at other stuff. We had: Calamari served without a sauce or any seasoning. This was frozen calamari of the kind you can buy in any supermarket. Aubergine with local honey the honey was nice the aubergine was deep fried to within an inch of its life so you were mostly eating batter. Not that nice. Steak fillet decent joint of meat but it hadn't been seasoned at all. Served with fresh french fries good) and frozen vegetables not good) Sea bass this was by far the worst meal of the evening. No seasoning of any sort, served with boiled potatoes from the 1970's, frozen vegetables and nothing else. Overall, a thoroughly disappointing evening!"

Nos encantó todo acerca de este restaurante. Un servicio tan cálido, amable y atento, excelente comida, vistas increíbles y un precio realmente razonable. ¡Regresaríamos en un abrir y cerrar de ojos!

El restaurante está situado en un sitio privilegiado con unas vistas espectaculares. El servicio super atento y amable. Disfrutamos de una comida muy rica y con unas vistas preciosas. Totalmente recomendable para disfrutar de una buena comida.

No es verdad que tengan platos veganos o vegetarianos, salvo que te pidas un gazpacho o una tortilla. El restaurante está bien ubicado y tiene muy buenas vistas, el servicio bien pero no impecable, y la comida buena -si eres omnívoro- pero servida lenta. Precios caros. Buen ambiente.

Siempre venimos aquí cada vez que venimos a Mijas pueblo y nunca decepciona. Envié un correo electrónico unos días antes para asegurar una mesa junto a la ventana. Los camareros son muy atentos e interactivos y la comida deliciosa, ¡nuestro lugar especial y favorito en Mijas! Gracias La Alcazaba.

The general feeling at our table was too bad the food quality was not at the same level as the Servive and the surrounding which were excellent and beautiful. We had a table by the window with unbeatable view. The wait staff was excellent, very professional, and pleasant. The meat was unfortunately much too cooked, while we decided to keep our lamb chops which were well done instead of medium rare (which we would have liked even either medium or rare) we asked for our ribeye to be exchanged as it was well done too. The waiter saw that and promptly offered to return it. Overall it is a very nice place and we had a beautiful evening. We had an excellent bottle of Rioja
