"Setenil de las Bodegas is an amazing place ON FOoT! We made the mistake of driving to the top which needed the mirrors to be closed as it was so narrow scarey! However on the return to the bottom we found a parking space: major problem as so small! The Bodega staff were pleasant helpful charming to the baby g.daughter. Made a space for her- no fuss. Food was tasty reasonably priced with a cold beer.view is amazing. Local cheeses worth buying.excellent for gifts."

Family run restaurant with quick, friendly staff which we visited twice for breakfast. The prices were the best I've seen in Spain recently, they did toasted rolls with a wide range of toppings or fillings. Excellent coffee was still only a euro. Lovely lunchtime experience. We had the freshest tomato onion salad, simple dressing with garlic, the seasoning was just right. Simple but freshly cooked potato fries, not frozen, ‘homemade’, with chicken croquettes. Good bread, good beer, great service. The girls that served us were attentive kind. It was a feeling of generosity that came across too. This is the simple type of Spanish lunch I can dream of when back in cold UK.

Hay que decir que aunque parece muy sencillo lo que le da las 4 estrellas es la calidad de la comida y el servicio muy atento Hemos tomados 2 espetos y una Carme y ha sido de verdad un gusto. A lo mejor a muchos les molesta que el pulpo sea “diritto” y el pulpo nacional que “cruja” al morderlo, pero esto es claro síntomas de recién pescado. Añado que también la cuenta es de las accesibles. Bien, muy bien Si pasa por aquí pruébalo
