"I have ordered the pasta at this place and it was heavenly. The staff is not very friendly, but the food is worth it. If you visit, you should try and book a table in advance as the place is usually full."

"Third Italian restaurant tested in Duesseldorf and Oberkassel. Must say the name instilled some doubts, not really Italian, but we wanted to try it anyway. Prices are a mix of high and standard prices. Not the best vitello tonnato ever tried as starter, conversely bread...and pizza pane were good. The disaster came with the main course. First of all very funny names, spaghetti Tom Hanks…., spaghetti Sofia Loren…..but the taste of our dishes, risotto ai frutti di mare, spaghetti Sofia Loren and spaghetti Tom Hanks was terrible and in fact we left half of them in the plates. On top of that a disproportionate use of salt made the rest making them inedible. Don’t know if the Chef had a bad day but honestly not a place I would recommend."

"The initial location and entrance to the restaurant is not the most inviting one would expect somewhat a feel of factory entrance. Yet the inside set up is on a natural design reflection , much liked the longer wooden tables with benches and pillows....the terrace appears to be nice with well set Olive trees. Regretfully weather was not that warm to see the set up and swing of this area. The food was indeed very well prepared, tasty and yes very original. The service was attentive though seems to have lost the focus once the restaurant got busy. Overall a very good experience and the wines of Greece seem to be a fine selection too."

"this restaurant is located directly on the main street of meerbusch and the sign is not too obvious, it needs something carefree to find it. but as soon as they get in, the room is very comfortable and the garden is a nice place to lunch. to do with a group. this place serves them lunch and a complete menu for dinner. I have eaten with otopussalat and pasta. pasta is boiled directly and the salad was delicious. I ended up with expresso and a tiramisu that are also well done. Overall, I say that this is a good place to have a decent Italian meal with a very comfortable environment. I know I'm back for Sunday brunch."

"I'm thrilled with the Rheinschänke after I was here two days. For my feeling it has this rustic, cozy charm. I liked the food very well, was tasty and it was also quite flotted. I didn't have to wait for a long time, but I'm sure it's time to visit. That is why I cannot say too much. The staff was polite and friendly. I felt good. For my part I can recommend the Rheinschänke for a visit, so much more."
