"Finding 'breakfast ' in southern Spain is no easy task. Sure, you can find all the toast-tomato-jamon that you can shake a stick at but sometimes good-old bacon and eggs is what you 're craving. After seeing a few photos that showed pancakes and omelettes I figured I had to give it a try. 9:30 in the morning is early by Andalucian standards so the place was largely empty. We had our choice of places to sit in the funky but cozy bar-restaurant. The walls are decorated with vintage 60 's and 70 's film photos and posters while the back wall is dominated by a 60 's inspired colorful wall treatment which contrasts interestingly with exposed beams of the ceiling and the otherwise dark, cozy feel. The menu was confined to items written on blackboards and the narration of the friendly and helpful waiter. There was a slight problem in that my Spanish was not quite up to the task of keeping up with the waiters Andaluz. However, it was determined that my wife and I were not there for breakfast as we had thought because that would have entailed the previously mentioned toast and jamon. No, we were there for brunch according to the waiter. So after much discussion with the waiter involving some pantomime, I thought I had ordered pancakes and an omelette with tomatoes and mushrooms, but also fully aware that I may get something completely different. Somewhat different won out. What arrived was two fried eggs, over-easy, bacon, fresh tomatoes, and sauteed mushrooms. It was all excellent! I noticed a large selection of homemade cakes that I will be sure to try when I return. I will also be looking up the word 'pancakes ' so I can order that next time as well."

Just a glass of wine, this time around, but it's in a lovely spot , set in a cobbled square; and in an easy silence. The barrels outside the entrance show they mean business! Next tiem, food, maybe?

an ideal place I didn't know and I see that I know places of the port. We were having breakfast. to the sun of its silence. terrace...with exquisite attention and magnificent breakfast. totally recommended!

a very nice place within the historic center next to the.Castillo de san Marcos, terrace and interior, they serve you very well, I love, if there is an interior lift and if not on the terrace you will definitely be great.

I give you the most of all because the waiter who attended us advised us very well and I explain everything with great patience so that we choose the best, the kinds of bread they have, the ones that do there...everything. The toasts were very good, and the special juice of the house too. All great. If you go to the port I recommend a breakfast/brunch there, it's great.
