"I went into La Nouvelle Etoile to have a glass of wine after roaming the area for a while. I ordered 25cl of a white Burgundy. The music playing was soft and of a jazz genre. I noticed the chalk board menu and decided I would return later for dinner. I'm glad I did! I started with the tatin of tomato, eggplant and red sweet pepper (tatin de tomate, aubergine et poivron rouge). My tastebuds were zinging. It had a slight sweet taste so it went well with the eggplant and tomato. It was served with a small green salad with a mild dressing. I followed that with the duo of sea bass and scallops. The dish came with a nice-sized piece of sea bass and two deliciously cooked scallops. I was too full for dessert. Several days later I felt like I just had to have that tatin again so I returned and was warmly greeted back. I did order the tatin and this time followed it with the duck leg (confit de canard), one of the chalkboard specials that night. I was not disappointed. It was another generous portion and even though my favorite dessert was on the menu (moelleux au chocolat) I had no room. The staff were all amazingly welcoming, helpful and friendly. I told them I'd be returning in March 2020 with some friends. La Nouvelle Etoile will be one of my go-to restaurants whenever I am in Paris. It's in an area where tourists usually don't go. I was staying nearby so it was just a few minutes walk but worth any length of metro ride to get there and enjoy the wonderful service and food!"

My family loved this place. The food was great and the staff was lovely. They didn’t speak English very well and we didn’t speak French, but our order was perfect. Their menu is in French and English which was super helpful. Will definitely go back!

Ce restaurant propose seulement du Risotto sous différentes recettes .... Le rapport qualité prix est bien par contre les recettes manquent d'originalités. En fin comme dans la plus part des restaurants du quartier , c'est très difficile de manger sur place .

Très animée le we, cette brasserie cultive un service très sympathique avec une cuisine d'industrie: salades à base de produits de conserve, viandes préparées que je suppose congelées, risottos préfabriqués.Le vin nous a semblé bon. Et l'ambiance joyeuse.Un bon point pour la crème brûlée.

J'ai choisi ce restaurant pour la variété des plats proposés,tous plus alléchants les uns que les autres!Nous y avons été chaleureusement accueillis et la table réservée était très bien placée. Demi - cercle fort convivial.Nous avons eu l'embarras du choix pour le menu!Nous avons été très bien conseillés et en plus nous avons pu déguster un vin delicieux:le Pouillé fumé.Bravo pour la finesse de la cuisine et la cordialité du serveur plein de petites attentions.Il a ménagé une surprise pour ma fille dont c'était l'anniversaire.Nous nous sommes régalés et nous avons passé une excellente soirée dans une ambiance chaleureuse.Nous recommandons cette Nouvelle Etoile et nous y reviendrons!Garance 7...
