"Perfect! Fine selection of appetizers, soups, teas and sachets, various teas were shown at the table and explains that the salads are also available as a combination with small portions. Great savings on the Friends menus, beers available in small bottles. "For the long weekend we had booked an arrangement in this hotel, two nights with breakfast and a three-course dinner in the evening. Upon arrival we were informed that the food would be offered in buffet form due to the utilisation of the hotel, and this was planned for the second evening. This did not correspond to our ideas, and we asked to put the appointment on the first evening and not to get the buffet as far as possible. The employee at the reception promised to check, then after a short waiting period we could confirm that we could meet our wishes. After we put our luggage in the room and had made us a little fresh, we went to the restaurant. The restaurant is located on the street front of the hotel, right next to the hotel bar. There is apparently a strict separation between breakfast room and restaurant area, we originally landed in the breakfast area and were addressed by a waiter and then complimened to the street area where a table was already reserved for us. The tables right at the windows are flattering, our table in the second row stood on an empor. We took place there, and shortly afterwards another waiter came to the table and handed us the menus to choose the drinks. Then he informed us about the menu: cauliflower cream soup, steak with mushrooms and roast potatoes and as dessert an ice cream. Nothing unusual, but that could not be expected at the price of the arrangement and the orientation of the restaurant – it is actually a steak house. Also included in the package were a glass of beer or wine per person or also a soft drink. After a short review of the map, we both chose a glass of wine, a dry 2014 Regent QbA “Black Gold” from the Lars Reifert winery at the Geiseltalsee, and we ordered a large bottle of mineral water. The drinks were brought quickly, but the red wine glass at Madame was not served from the right. This was understandable due to the corner position of the table, but a correct serving would still have been possible. The wine had a strong, earthy bouquet, but it had no stock at the first swallow. On the tongue he then seemed light and very fruity. Little later the waiter brought the first gear, the cauliflower cream soup. She was well hot and obviously cooked herself, with numerous smaller cauliflowers in it and also self-made croutons on it. Tastefully the soup was rather reluctant, but with the very well seasoned croutons there was a really good taste experience. After the soup plates had been emptied and cleared, a small break occurred while our waiter supplied the neighboring tables. His appearance was always friendly and accommodating, only his training had the one or other recognizable weakness. What had already been noticed in Madame's wine was repeated in the side table in a far more blatant way: There was a beer glass served from the left and right in front of the guest's face, and that was not the only weak point. There is also a clear need for repeating. After a reasonable time, the waiter then brought our main dishes. Two small pieces of meat were divided into the area of the plate with mushrooms and roast potatoes. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, not too hard and not soaky, well seasoned with bacon and onions and sprinkled with a few rolls of spring onions. Also the mushrooms were very good and with bite. Only the meat had been cooked for too long, it was clearly medium-well, although we had ordered it quite clearly medium. We warned a complaint about this as meaningless, the staff was clearly required this evening. At the end we got an ice cup with three balls of ice, some spray cream and a cookie. Standard, but not wrong. In view of the price for the whole arrangement, you can't complain."

"Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. But I can only give 3 stars.We had a double room with a bed, half board.The double room was on the street. The proximity to the roads and to the railway line could represent a problem for some who like to sleep with open windows.For us it was possible to sleep with open windows. Hotel room clean and tidy.Room size was very sufficient because the embedding at all did not reduce the room large.What we did not like was cleaning the room.The maid made the room daily. But this related only to making the bed, emptying garbage buckets and changing towels or filling up toilet paper in the bathroom. The room has an electric kettle to make your own coffee or tea. We find the one very nice service of the hotel. But if something like this is offered (at a 4 star hotel) it should also be part of the service of the maid to change the used cups and, if necessary, the coffee or To fill tea supply. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired for us. e.g. agitated eggs, freshly roasted bacon, grill sausages or mini liver cheese, barbecue tomatoes, s ribs, croissant, bread, crib, juices, sausages and cheese plates, fresh fruit of the season ... etc.The evening bread was either buffet or a 2nd course menu. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to have a buffet for dinner at our overnight stays.The 2 courses menu was alternately a soup and main dish or a dessert. There was no choice of soup or the dessert. At the main dish there was a choice between 2 dishes, always with a vegetarian dish. Since it was not a great choice, the food is very good.Our taste was not always met. It's also difficult to choose two dishes. But I don't agree with it, which is why I'm leaving a half a star here. The beverage card did not leave our wishes open, but the chosen items were often sold out due to the delivery.The swimming pool is quite appropriate for the hotel size. I used it more often (early and evening) and it can only be max. 6 people in the swimming pool. Therefore, the swimming pool is reserved hourly to meet this demand. We didn't have any problems getting a place in the swimming pool.Water temperature should be at 26 °C according to the hotel. Feeling the water was so cold for me that I had to move so I didn't get cold. But there was more to swim in the swimming pool and not to lie around. Why I'm leaving the next half-star because of the swimming pool: The swimming pool has several beautiful facilities, such as a countercurrent system or massage nozzles. These were always out of operation as well as the 90 °C sauna. Why can't I say and missed to ask, but I find it sad that these available amenities could not be used.Who has read everything up here, I find personally beautiful.Finally, I can say that hotel was fine for the price performance ratio. "I'm looking for a restaurant not only for cirping and in love to swap bargains. No, this gastronome catches the full pack of an eleven-headed, very mixed troop! Pre-ordering was therefore smart and was asked again by phone at the ordering party on the day of the visit. Merseburg, downtown.?? In my head and not only in my head there is a white spot at this point, so we parked our swing cars a little far away and went through the city center towards the location. The view of the restaurant brings my eyebrows to swing appreciably, since someone really took money in the hand! When you enter, you wait for the inevitable ciao Bella! what did not happen. Yeah, because I hate that! I like the furnishings very well: elegant, comfortable and absolutely kitsch-free. At the table there begins unavoidable where with the jacket/jacket etc. And what should I say, my leather jacket floated exactly 5 millimetres over my shoulder blades when the waiter accessed and hung them in sight to a wardrobe. The menu was designed for every guest in the square, only food and beverages were noticed. She's not superbly large, but all really finest handwork, from appetizer to dessert. Of course, there were also different special requests for the various orders, but the staff has taken up the sovereign and implemented them perfectly. I would have liked to have more photos, but the u-shaped room was very quickly occupied with guests and I am also not the friend of buzzing foodporn. The rear area of the guest room has two really gigantic dome windows in the ceiling and an access to another, now tented open area with heating mushrooms, ceilings and ashtrays. Plus parking spaces behind it. The waiting time for food is moderate and it is very, very good, very good!!!! Dessert wishes will be requested and realized after the main course is cleared with another card. The visit of the sanitary facilities would almost have led me to a crime: a bit before an old Roman villa with the elaborate tiles and stunning beautiful natural stone sinks with antique fittings. I was gone! The invoice at the end was also skillful and patiently taken apart from the one individually. From me there are ten stars with kisses!"
