La Pizzeria du Rouf

We ate here a few times and had great food and excellent service each time. There is always a good poisson du jour and the carafes of rose go with anything when you are dining by the sea. Best to book though and tell Madame that I sent you.

It's excellent and the cheapest place in town! The house wine is brilliant and 12€ a bottle, we had a carpaccio and rocket salad, a baked aubergine salad and then two awesome thin crust pizzas....the whole thing was less than 80€ and brilliantly done.

Situated opposite Le Rouf and overlooking the beach of Pinarrellu, La Pizzeria has a great atmosphere and is a really fun and friendly place with a great range of pizzas the rest of the menu is pretty good to! A really enjoyable night out and very well worth a visit. Visualizza piatti

We have stopped there during a very cold and rainy day - the beach front terrace has been warmed up with Gas Heaters and we were able to enjoy lunch avoiding the elements.We had only 3 large buckets of mussels - they were made to perfection. We will come back for some more!

Family meal, arrived approximately 10 minutes before another table and watched as the waiter paid all his attention to them resulting in us waiting 20 minutes for drinks and getting our food well after them. The food is okay not the best pizza I’ve tasted in Corsica, nice setting however.

First the good things: Pizzas and meals are ok, the place is directly on the beach wich is beautiful if you dont have to seat in the middle of the restaurant. Service and ambiente is uncomfortabel. Everyone is in a hurry and they creat a complet stressful ambiente. Great pizza. I tried the Rouf pizza with artichokes, olives and mushrooms. It had a great , thin crust. The olive oil brought to our table was nice and spicy, use sparingly if you don't like spice. My husband had the Robot chicken sandwich and it had a nice mayonnaise. My kids had margarita pizza and one with ham. Both were good. Staff and service was fast and friendly; fast service was appreciated with kids who don't sit long. The view was fantastic. I did not try dessert but the menu looked appealing. Salads served to other tables looked fantastic.

I regret not being in line with some other customers but for us is not a place to be recommended.The food is ordinary, nothing special. Respecting the truth, is more or less the same like in neighborhood. The price of one 250 ml beer is 5 euro but you find this only on the bill, nowhere on the menu is writing. Cheaper to others.The big problem is that they overcharged the bill with 28 euro. Fortunately we observed and paid the correct amount (without apologizes from waiter/owner). The question is how many people are looking to the bill carefully? Be aware!

This restaurant has the perfect setting- if you are on the right side of the restaurant that is. One side is a beautiful harbour setting and the other is a busy road. The staff did not correctly interpret our English as much as we tried to communicate our order (in fairness they speak better English than we can french). We specifically asked for the steak fillet even though they gave us cod. We did not mind this as it was still beautiful food however we were not impressed when we realised the meal they had cooked us by mistake was in fact more expensive than the one we originally had planned on having.The cocktails are lovely and the staff seem nice enough.
