Ho mangiato una pizza fantastica e un risotto ai mirtilli! I camerieri erano gentili e disponibili e i prezzi erano abbastanza buoni per la qualità offerta!

Wonderful pizzas with local touches, the bread passed the bread test and stayed nice throughout the meal. A very good, reasonably priced house wine, and good attentive service. Strongly recommended!

Il cibo e il servizio erano un vero piacere. Ho ordinato gli antipasti seguiti dai ravioli fatti in casa e poi gli spaghetti. Le porzioni erano abbondanti e il cibo aveva un prezzo moderato. Il servizio era eccezionale, il personale era cordiale e disponibile. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals (we went three times in the week) here. of note were the pasta dishes which were really great. We recommend these especially the estate pasta with tomatoes and olives. Also worth noting are the desserts the creme Catalan, tiramisu and panacotta were all superb! The staff are lovely and welcomed us warmly. The local digestive is definitely worth buying if you are in the area they sell it here too and it was good. All in all our favourite place to eat in the area.

Non avevamo una prenotazione ed era una notte impegnata, ma l'uomo che ci ha accolti con un sorriso ci ha trovato un tavolo immediatamente senza problemi. Il ristorante era vivace e ben arredato. Il menu era molto buono con un sacco di scelte diverse, molte di loro ricette locali. La lista dei vini era buona e il servizio era attento, amichevole e professionale. Il cibo era eccellente e ragionevolmente prezzo. Ho pensato che fosse davvero un ottimo pasto e ci avrebbe sicuramente mangiato la prossima volta che sono abbastanza fortunato da essere a Pieve Di Cadore.

Abbiamo alloggiato presso l'adiacente Belvedere Hotel. La Suite è stata una scelta facile e quando siamo arrivati alle 20:30, abbiamo notato quanto fosse affollato il ristorante. Si è solo fatto più affollato, quindi sapevamo di aver fatto una buona scelta! Abbiamo visto coppie, famiglie, giovani e anziani. Quando siamo partiti alle 21:45, i clienti continuavano ad arrivare. Avevano una lista di 3 pagine di pizze, insieme ad altri piatti come manzo, pollo, insalate, pasta. Scelte classiche per le pizze, ma per la maggior parte molto uniche. Vino rosso della casa molto buono, servizio eccellente. Una grande scoperta, la consiglio!

We decided to call into Pieve di Cadore for an evening meal. Wandering around the town we spotted a sign to La Suite, tucked away in a side street. On entering the restaurant we were greeted by friendly and efficient staff who showed us to a table. There is a good choice on the main menu, and an amazing selection of pizzas on offer. Between us we ordered a pork dish, a calzone pizza and an aubergine based vegetarian dish. The meals arrived quickly and all three dishes were excellent. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco, which was light and very dry just the way we like it. We began with a plate of grilled vegetables aubergine, zucchini, red and yellow peppers, and fennel, with a small wheel of cheese in the middle that were perfectly prepared and very tasty. The second plate was a ravioli filled with mountain nettles that was really delicious. We then shared a pizza with porcini mushrooms and Italian sausage on a nice, thin crust that was as good as any pizza we have had. Came twice to this one, and the first time the portions were small but the food was good, service adequate, but it was expensive 70 Euros for wine/water/antipasti 1 primi and 1 secondi. Second night the bread came with a gnat sitting on it and the bread was stale, so I replaced it with an adjacent tables bread bowl. The table was empty, BTW. Staff noticed and promptly replaced the bread and took our gnat infested one away. From there the whole experience went downhill, I think because the maitre d was peeved I had rejected his bread plate. Had a similar meal and waited forever for the bill.
