This restaurant is in the center of the magnificent fortress designed by Vauban, who is responsible for creating a number of seaside fortresses throughout Brittany in the 1700’s. The food is unforgettable and served with impeccable style and panache. An amuse bouche of cold asparagus soup with tiny shellfish was distinctive and delicious. My wife and I decided to dine at this establishment as we have never have eaten there before even after having been on Belle Ile for at least 8 times. And I have to say it was good decision as it was excellent. Actually better than expected (also when reading previous comments . The food was very delicious and nicely decorated. It was pretty tasty and well cooked. In fact, I believe that if this restaurant continues on this level and makes the right adjustments (i.e. more refined sauces, more eagerness to experimentation with ingredients to further stimulate the taste buds, etc. then they are ready for some Gault Millau Points.
