"Good food. Well worth a visit and a repeat! Its not as bazaar as it sounds. This is a small 30 cover restaurant in a side street. It really does appear to fit the definition of local, but offers sadly under-used menus in English. The waiter also speaks sufficient English for an informed conversation. The menu is reassuringly concise with a good range of traditional starters and for main courses a quality selection of grilled meats and some fish dishes. We were a party of four and it all went like this; A selection of starters to share that came out in three courses; Battered aubergine slices coated in honey and sesame seed, Also with some mayonnaise bound salads served on prawn crackers, very clever. Followed by king prawns stewed in olive oil and garlic. Then finely chopped octopus served with stir fried veg and fruit with a light impression of curry flavouring. This really worked. So the starters come out in manageable amounts, this also extends dining time, as well as keeping the food fresh. Main courses, steaks and excellent Spanish pork, and cod, one cod dish with chestnuts and the other with the other stewed in olive oil, I've had halibut stewed with olive oil in Michelin starred restaurants, but never with cod, This was excellent. Sorry to waffle on about the dishes, but I just wanted to try and explain the attraction. Service was very good too. Excelente comida en un pueblito de Tenerife , la atención es muy buena y cercana. Llegamos tarde pero nos atendieron genial y sin reserva. Bacalao con castañas exquisito y solomillo mar y montaña con salsa de gambas . Volveremos sin dudas .

Lugar acogedor y no muy grande, que te abraza con luz tenue para disfrutar de una buena copa de vino y una conversación. Los productos son exquisitos y se salen de lo cotidiano, los cuales se elaboran sobre la marcha una vez se piden, echo que deriva en que los platos puedan tardar un poco más de lo habitual en servirse, aunque a veces se echa de menos ese tiempo de disfrute que te permite centrarte en una buena charla y degustar el vino. Dispones de Jamón ibérico al corte y una tarta de sobao exquisita. Es recomendable reservar y por supuesto recomendable 100%.
