"Freek de eigenaar had lang een zaak in Arnhem, dus al lang van plan om eens te bezoeken, op terugreis va Oberhausen maar eens gestopt.Mooie winkel,leuke bediening veel hollandse gasten, of alleen maar?Specialiteit de Wirtshaus Burger goed geprijsd mooi opgemaakt maar helaas in totaal te droog.Tafelgenoot redelijke wild specialiteit maar niet heel bijzonder, goed geprijsd enthousiaste mevrouw aan tafel.Geen wijnkaart, jammer anders hadden we het nog een keer avondvullend willen proberen."

"Gisteren heerlijk gegeten,zeker de moeite waard en we komen zeker weer terug. Al was het alleen al voor dat heerlijke voorgerecht 'zalm gemarineerd in Jack Daniels '!!!! In een woord Geweldig!! Gemoedelijke sfeer en n leuke bediening."

"Für jede Kategorie 5 Sterne. Weil: Ich kam rein in das Restaurant. Total voll. Alle am rennen und machen und ich frage den Chef, hätten sie noch einen Tisch für 4 Personen? Anstatt hektisch zu machen und mich abzuwimmeln sagt er, warten sie kurz, ich sehe nach. Es ging ca 5 Minuten. Und es warteten bereits mindestens 15 andere Gäste. Er versorgte diese, weil sie reserviert hatten, dann wies er mir einen Tisch zu. Sagte, dass ich Glück hätte, es wäre der Letzte freie Tisch. Er sagte aber auch gleich dass es nur mit Wartezeit ginge. Ich nickte und sagte, daß ist verständlich und vollkommen in Ordnung. Trotz der vielen Gäste wurden wir prompt mit Getränken versorgt und die Mitarbeiter waren allesamt sehr sehr freundlich. Das Essen hatte natürlich Wartezeit, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Das Essen, Gourmetplatte, war mega gut. Es war reichlich für 4 Personen. Somit meine Bewertung für alles 5 Sterne weil einfach überragend. Ich würde gerne noch das Ein oder Andere Sternchen mehr geben. Leider geht es nicht. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Nähe sein, kommen wir gerne wieder. Dann aber nur mit Reservierung! Sehr wichtig! "Buongiorno! Buon Appetito in EmmerichElten. Unbelievable that we found this little gem of a great Italian restaurant. It feels like a cozy atmosphere and the restaurant is really ran by a true Italian family. We have ordered a mini pizza Hawaii for our daughter, furthermore...a Tagliatelle Salmone and a Spagetti Frutti di Mare. The pasta’s taste freshly made, the spaghetti was more like spaghettini and really delicious, like the spaghettini the tagliatelle were both cooked al dente. The sauces combined in the pastas were surprisingly terrific and the pizza dough freshly tossed as a thin real Italian bottom. You could really taste the freshness. Thumbs up! Truly wonderful!!! Seeing some bad reviews about the service and the hospitality, I really doubt that reviewing people really came here for dinner and just gave a bad review as they cannot stand having a great restaurant around them in The Greater Emmerich. We can really say that the service has been truely excellent and we were delighted to have our dinner here. It is extremely child friendly, great staff and very friendly and helpful. We had some true Sicilian drinks combined with our meal. We will come again for sure and highly recommend this restaurant. One of the true and authentic Italians we have ever been in Germany. So when you are around Emmerich, don’t forget to visit this gem in the Elten village! Affordable and a real Italian PizzeriaTratoria! By the way they speak, Dutch, German, English and Italian. Ciao Ciao!!! Arrividerci!!"

"This restaurant is attached to a hotel on the town square of Elten, it had a nice terrace at the front and the restaurant is wood panelled. It does not have an English menu as its customers are predominately Dutch and German. Almost everything on the main menu is a variation of Schnitzel and I don't think there was any meat other Pork and one steak dish. One night we had Pork Medallions with a mushroom sauce. We found the Pork tough and lacking in sauce. The second night was better when we both had different dishes though both basically Schnitzel. This is a fairly traditional German restaurant and if you like Schnitzel you will enjoy it but don't bother looking for Chicken dishes because they don't exist."
