"We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Sunday night in the heart of winter, after arriving from Stansted Airport. The dining area was nearly empty, but we enjoyed a lovely view of their small lake from our table by the window. The experience was truly delightful. The restaurant has a modern and well-lit ambiance, with a menu full of delicious British classics that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area."

beautiful restaurant with great intention was not a large menu pastry pie was beautiful, but the quality of the dinner menu is average, the breakfast was excellent you.

Avoid! They don't care how noisy the other guests are, or how dangerous it is to cross the road in the dark! Would never stay here again if you paid me and already stopped a couple of friends from booking.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is phenomenal with a diverse menu, and the chef is incredibly skilled. Every dish I have tried here has been delicious. The staff is welcoming and attentive, ensuring each visit is enjoyable. I have visited this restaurant numerous times and have never been let down. I highly recommend it.

1 Flight path directly overhead. 2 No bar facilities, which according to other reviews has been the situation for some time now, and needs be disclosed at time of booking. 3 Despite the stay being prepaid, a £25 card pre-authorisaton was demanded in case the room was smashed up as if £25 would cover this, and it took 7 days for this charge on the card to be cancelled.
