Lovely meal as always. Staff are so friendly and the food is delish.

First visit to this venue. Booked a table for myself and my wife for the Tapas evening. Good atmosphere, great food and attentive staff that looked to make our evening special. Although first visit it won't be our last.

Just popped in for quick anniversary drink as had other commitments but really warm welcome from James and the staff and lovely complimentary snack with our drinks which was a nice touch James is such a lovely host and always takes the time to speak to you Visualizza piatti

Pleasantly surprised. Great improvement in quality of food since our last visit. Interesting menu and lovely food. It was a little noisy when we visited as we were next to a large party with young children. Overall though, great experience and we will visit again, looking forward to trying their tapas menu.

The pub is nice and clean and modern, with a pleasant outdoor area if you want to sit outside but it needed more sunshades for hot days. Service is warm friendly. Whilst the beer battered fish was enjoyable, the skin on chips were a soggy disappointment more like badly done frozen chips. Would have expected them to be so much better. However, the salmon dish with mash was excellent. Wines are pricey.

My extended family and I gathered at this restaurant, choosing its quiet location as a midpoint between our five homes. The food was delicious and well-presented, and we received excellent service from James and his team. We enjoyed the lovely views from the back of the restaurant, as well as the spacious beer garden. While out for a walk, we spontaneously stopped by this charming restaurant for a coffee by the cozy log fire. We ended up staying for lunch after browsing the menu. My husband ordered a delicious sausage, cheese, and onion sandwich with coleslaw, while I opted for the beautifully presented fish cakes served with a side of mixed leaves. Nick, our server, warmly welcomed us, despite our casual attire, and provided excellent attentiveness throughout our meal, always accompanied by a friendly smile.

Lovely food and really nice surroundings. I would have rated it higher but we were sat in a window on a very sunny day and they blinds couldn't be pulled down. We eventually got a window open and that made it bearable. I know it's hard to predict the weather at this time of year and you want to let the sunshine in but I didn't think the waiting staff really cared when we said we were really uncomfortable. Maybe we hadn't ordered enough wine to suit them? I will give it another try but it will be when I can sit outside to eat or in the evening. The menu is interesting, the food was well-cooked and well-presented, though the chips were a bit odd, maybe reheated. Generous portion for roast dinn...

The Green Man at Linsell is a charming pub located off the beaten path that almost meets expectations. The pub's decor is lovely and you'll receive a warm welcome from the attentive front-of-house team. It's a step up from your typical pub, with white tablecloths and napkins that elevate the Sunday lunch experience. Getting there may require navigating through narrow single-track roads with the help of a somewhat confusing satnav, but there is ample parking available once you arrive.
