The chef is a very good cook and pastry chef, well known for a few years on the city of reims where he has conducted workshops this kitchen in several establishments. "We had a stunning meal for two for 86EUR. That included 3 starters, 2 mails, 2 deserts and a bottle of wine. Oh... and the bread and butter was to die for but wasn't charged for.We did our best to order everything in french, and the waitress was very accommodating and patient with us. We managed most of it without speaking English but she helped us out when we got stuck. An american couple arrived later on in the evening and their entire experience was in English, so it's not an issue if you don't speak french.The food was simple but stunning. It's fresh and not overly processed or flavoured. The hot oysters (9EUR) were a highlight, as was the house smoked salmon. I can not criticise anything here. If you want simple, good quality ingredients simply cooked, this is the place for you. We loved the experience.Next time I think I would go down more of a tapas style affair, by having more starters (to try as many off the menu as possible!), for the table to share."
