"With an excellent location in the heart of Göppingen, the “Nami Sushi” has perfect conditions for being THE address for sushi in Göppingen. And this expectation was not disappointed. The restaurant scores with friendly staff, a pleasant ambience and really excellent food. The staff was very friendly, attentive and fast. We ordered the number 137, which is designed for 2 persons. Two Miso soups are first obtained which were very good taste. The only manko is that the soup was a little salty, but this is a matter of taste. The main course is then obtained, which is a composition of various sushi species. The sushi was really excellent, there is nothing to complain about. The court was diverse and one was surprised again with every role. I think prices are justified. Overall, I can only recommend the “Nami Sushi”!"

"I write this review with years of fond memories of this place. The owner Valero has always treated my family and friends as his family. I visited this restaurant (for over 5 years 1987-1991) several times a week and there were weeks when I ate there everyday. From 1991 thru 1995 I was about 2 hours drive from Goppingen but whenever I was in the area this was my place to eat. Yes, it is THAT GOOD!!I have tried everything on the menu and have other typical German food but here are my highlights of the menu: Their salads are fresh with a light iol vinegar and spices dressing, very refreshing on a hot day. Their Pizza is the best I've ever had and since then, nothing ever compares. Even when I visited the city of Venice, never found a Pizza so good. They make their own sauce - not from a can. Their pasta? The presentation is very appetizing and when you taste it, again that home-made sauce jumps at you. Tortellini, Rigatoni, Spaghetti all is good. Their Cappuccino is on the spot. Great ambiance and Valero, who at the same time is the only server, while his brother takes care of the drinks always makes his rounds and chats with the customers. I last visited Germany in Sept and enjoyed Lunch and Dinner. The flavors were as what I remembered and the quality of food as good if not better. I was a pleasant trip down memory lane to chat with Valero and his brother one more time. So, try the Pizza, try the Pasta, a Small Green Salad and close it with either a Cappuccino or a Brandy. You will feel like you are in heaven. The Price is very reasonable compared to other places around town and for the amount of food and Quality you get more than your moneys' worth."

"Hm, irgendwie werde ich das Gefühl nicht los, dass das Gesamtpaket irgendwie nachgelassen hat.Das Essen war lecker, angefangen von der Tagessuppe bis hin zum Hauptgericht. Perfekter Biss, perfekte Schärfe. Aber so das Drumherum war irgendwie bissle lieblos. Lieblos der Empfang, lieblos die Aufnahme der Bestellung, lieblos angerichtet. etc. Also beim Thai erwarte ich einfach, dass die Klischees erfüllt werden: lächelnd von vorn bis hinten. Kann daran gelegen haben, dass die Chefin nicht anwesend war. Und die Toiletten sehr sauber, aber unglaublich kalt, es war wie in der Gefriertruhe. Geht gar nicht. Sehr schlecht. Das Restaurant hat ein unglaubliches Potenzial, ist den Eigentümern vermutlich nicht bewusst, oder ganz einfach egal, und gut genug, so wie es ist! Will aber keinem was Böses unterstellen.Dennoch empfehlenswert, das Essen ist Klasse."

"Leider kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, wir man 5 Sterne geben kann. 5 Sterne bedeuten TOP, und das ist das Anami definitiv (noch) nicht.Positiv sind durchaus die sehr rührigen und aufmerksamen Kellner, die auch richtig deutsch können und somit verstanden werden. Das Ambiente ist nett aber nicht wirklich gemütlich, zumal die Musik sehr laut im Hintergrund läuft, dazu noch ziemlichen Beat hat. Ich will in Ruhe essen und mich gepflegt unterhalten. Das ist hier schwierig.Der Fisch ist frisch gewesen und geschmacklich in Ordnung, das Sashimi allerdings seeeeehr dick geschnitten, weniger ist oft mehr. Dem Reis hat etwas die Säure gefehlt. Und auch das Wasabi/Soja könnte von besserer Qualität sein. Der Riesling war fantastisch und hat gut zum Essen gepasst, Top Empfehlung. Preis relativ hoch: Platte gemischt für 2, Fläche Wein, Flasche Wasser, 2x Algen Salat und 1x Edamame für schlappe 115 Euro...hm. Dafür hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Insgesamt sehr viel junges Publikum....wenn das Anami seine Identität findet, kann hier langfristig was Gutes entstehen. Im Augenblick sicherlich noch nicht auf 5 Sterne Niveau"

"If you were to ask me whether you could eat here, I would say yes, but there are a few BUTs, which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars so far. 1. I made a reservation online. I immediately received an email that I had requested a reservation. Good! I never received an email confirmation (yes, I know about the issue of SPAM, but I work in IT. I didn't receive anything!! . If you work with IT, you should check and optimize it regularly. 2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the ambience, the food quality and the service. Really great! It was great that there was a small pizza roller for cutting with the pizza! 3. We got really old Primitovo. You could already see that in the glass. Tasted very much like vinegar. With an “unbelievable” price of almost €10, you can really expect more. At the end the nice innkeeper gave out 2 new, good glasses “on the house”. That was nice, but it was also the least he could do. Who tastes a lot of wine, but this is worth a maximum of €6! 4. Speaking of prices. Dear restaurateurs (btw. I used to be a restaurateur too! , take a look at your restaurants. If your restaurant has over 50% empty seats, then something is wrong. Your food is good, but you can't sell a Margherita pizza for almost €11 (and that was probably one of the cheapest dishes . For comparison, I have attached a menu from Sicily from May 2024 here. And don't tell me about the 19%. It's always been there, then because of Corona you got 7%, which you didn't pass on. Now it's 19% again and suddenly it's going to be huge. If you keep pricing like this, you won't be around much longer! Consider dropping 3 to 4 € everywhere and stirring up the advertising drum from Göppingen to Waschenbeuren. Then the store will be full again and you will definitely earn more than you do now. Let's see how long it takes me to give it 4 or 5 stars. Food and drinks: The food is really good and nice to look at. The greeting from the kitchen was completely tasteless, even though it looked like much more. Service: 4 Location: 5"
