Our first visit to Launceston Place and boy did it not disappoint! We had the lunch tasting menu and husband opted for the wine pairing as well. Every course was beautifully executed: creative presentation using quality ingredients imaginatively put together with several items that left you wondering 'how did they do that? I went to this restaurant on Wednesday August 28th 2024. I had the 3 course menu which was imaginative and fun. The portion sizes were perfect and I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and as though I had a good meal. The Amuse Bouche were delicious and tantalising. My starter was Ceviche. The mains was a delicately flavoured Monkfish which just slipped down my throat. My desert was a strawberry mousse which was so awe inspiring in its look that I did not want to eat it. The meal was washed down by a couple of glasses of their finest Chablis.
