"Very good address! I took a Big Wrap Savoyard for 18€, it was really tasteful and well loaded! There is also, besides, a fried barquette and a salad, so it is a very interesting value. On dessert I took a redesigned lemon pie, as delicious and I found very well provided for the price, 8€. The restaurant has an indoor room and a terrace, with a capacity of 20 to 30 I would say. I suggest you book in advance if you want to have room. Watch out, the restaurant doesn't take the credit card! Information I learned at the end of the meal... It may have been said at the beginning of the meal, but if so I did not hear it. He would be advised to put it on the map. The lady who served us was very kind and listening, the service not too long. For access, it is quite easy but you have to find room to park! I recommend this restaurant and I'll go back on occasion. "A charming little French bistro nestled in a residential area of South Pasadena. The parking is extremely easy because there are many parking spaces in the street available without a counter or allowed in this part of the city. It is a small place, but well done in this sense that the tables are not too close together and allow them to eat inside and outside. Our waitress Fabienne was very polite and attentive, she did an excellent job. I love bistros and I go often, so I've already come by knowing what I wanted to have, but as usual, I was influenced by the chef's dish for my entry. I started with French onion soup and it was very good and made in a classic style, perfect for a cold winter night. We also ordered the cheese balls (goat cheese and gruyère wrapped in prosciutto) and these were exceptionally tasty; They sold me once I heard the goat cheese. For my entry, I was going to take the trout but when I heard the special ribs, I chose it and it was rich and delicious. I wish he came with more sauce than I missed halfway, but it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. A big bistro all around and I would recommend it to everyone. It's nice to get out of LA on the occasion to mix it, then come north in this quiet area and an excellent service was a pleasure. "We've been eating Philip's pizza for over ten years. He started in van parked at the mini market's lot and has now graduated to a shop in which he and his wife offer take outs of more than pizza... but pizza is his mainstay. For Paulhan to have 3 good pizza shops is special but for true pizza lovers Philip's is the best, maybe due to the competition. In my home town of New Haven Connecticut two Wooster Street pizza places competed with Sally's being triumphant not just because Sinatra used to eat there but because Flo continued her husband's pizza making skill after he died. And in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood there are two pizza places that have pushed each other for years with Aeillo's winning out but since the proprietor's recent passing, the jury's out on his son's skill to continue; Mineo's might just prevail. Well, it may seem like a distraction but Philip's is in the same league with two of America's best pizza shops and, if you're in Paulhan you should taste for yourself."
