"1st the good even great bits . The service was wonderful as was the decor - wine list was good and the deserts were good . Sadly the main course wasnt up to the same standard - the rib of beef tasted fine , the sauce was fine and the french fries but sadly the meat was tough as old boots - bit of a shame for a steakhouse . Surprised this is ranked #1 - Tripadvisor usually pretty good with these things . I guess this was an off day or maybe I'm too fussy . I'll be having the burger if I go back"

This place must have a new butcher since the 2016 reviews. The entocote was as thin as the soles of my boots and as tough. Chips must have been fried four times they were so dark. Salad garnish had been plated at least an hour before.! Sauce was ok. Mouse au Chocolat was good, service was freindly, will not be back

We went here twice during our holiday and enjoyed both visits.Waitresses on both occasions were great and understood what we were asking for (in English). The food was great and served very quickly, can recommend the Mussels and the Burgers. Prices were very reasonable and not too busy on either occasion we were in.Would definitely go back if ever in Lacanau in future.Forgot the desserts were great as well.
