Le Jardin, Hôtel Le Richemond

The food at Le Jardin is simply superb. I had the vegetarian starter, which was delicious and beautifully presented. Service is excellent and the presentation of the food is sublime. Top rate.

Just been to le jardin in hotel richemond And food was super . The beef and foie gras. was superb as were all dishes even down to petit fours. Would eat here again. A must go. The sommelier was great and our best night.

All the ingredients were local and fresh and the dishes creatively paired flavors while keeping the integrity of each individual ingredient. The lake Geneva fera fish is exquisite as is the accompanying crayfish and asparagus done in three distinct ways. I received a complementary appetizer and desert. The waiters and host were attentive and plain nice people. Simply a wonderful restaurant.

My wife and I were looking for a top class fine dining experience in Geneva, and le Jardin was everything we had hoped for. The hotel the restaurant is located in, the appearance of the restaurant itself, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff were all faultless. But the star of the evening was the food - of the highest quality, seasoned to perfection, from a superb range of dishes, and the signature dessert dish was an absolute must-try.

We have first dined in Le Jardin in the late autumn and were very impressed then - with the outstanding food and service. This time, it wasn't any different. The menu is just excellent - Michelin quality without a doubt. But so is the service - the whole team is exceptional. If you are visiting Geneva, and want a special souvenir - please go here, you'll leave with such brilliant experience - it is not everywhere the same, although the prices would be very similar... Dined at le Jardin on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was fully booked. We chose the menu with truffles, 4 course of pure delight. Each course was very well presented and with great flavor. The wine we chose was a local Swiss red that complimented the dishes perfectly. They have valet parking, which is necessary, as it gets so busy and difficult to park anywhere close to the hotel. The only down side was the waiting time for drink, to be served, etc..possibly short staffed as there was only 2 waiters (Saturday night!). Apart from that, it was an excellent evening with some truly flavorsome dishes. Not cheap 300 CHF for 2 incl. wine.

Superb setting, very attentive service, beautifully presented dishes made with wonderfully fresh ingredients, served on very design (not always very practical) tableware. I had the marinated tuna followed by the most perfectly cooked chicken filet with morels and asparagus and wow, what a desert: strawberry carpaccio in something that looked like a white chocolate egg, just more sophisticated. I can only recommend. My guest from abroad said that this was the best French cuisine he ever ate. He had the asparagus as a starter, followed by the local fera lake of Geneva fish and for desert a stunning mango based creation that looked like sushi.

We visited Le Jardin for lunch on our last day in Geneva and had a vegetarian menu with three courses. The food was wonderful (!) and the staff very both kind and professional. The atmosphere was a little stiffer than I'd preferred, and perhaps more suited for a dressed up dinner out than for a casual lunch. I was surprised to find seafood in the vegetarian dishes - but enjoyed them all the same. They were very helpful and made an alternative for one in our company who has allergies, but that created a bit of a delay in our meal.
