To sit at table you need make a prior reservation. Apparently the place is in a huge demand and it is for a reason! Service is fast and friendly. Tapas are fresh and really good. Drinks are cold and glasses clean! Cocktails made with lots of creativity! We had fantastic time!

Premier passage mais sûrement pas le dernier ! Personnel accueillant, belle carte des vins et très belle carte de cocktails très originaux. Côté restauration une douzaine de plats, enfin d'assiette car les quantités sont peut être justes, mais le mélange des saveurs très agréable en bouche.

In the midst of the fun Marais neighborhood this has tasty snacks and excellent cocktails. The menu is interesting but consists of small plates. Wine list is small but solid -- a word of caution it doesn't open until 6:00 PM -- also be careful on warm evenings as miscreants from the neighborhood will grab a purse if given half a chance. We walked over to the restaurant in anticipation to the review we read and we were so disappointed.Cons No service waited 20 min. Before someone brought us a menu.The menu was no existent 1 page of tapas. Not appealing at all.Over 8 pages of drinks ( okay if you want to drink)NOT a place for food.Drinks very expensive.ProsNice corner establishment

Cocktails très inspirés et réussis, vins très moyens en dépit du serveur qui tutoie les aspirants branchés. Table de 8, donc nous avons fait tourner les (petites) assiettes. Tout est bon, à défaut de bon marché, mais c'est paris et je me répète. Boulettes d'agneau très bonnes, salade de bulots réussie, oeufs à la diable épicés....Gâteau au chocolat parfaitement quelconque.

This was my second time at Le Mary Celeste. If you are looking for a full-meal, Le Mary Celeste may not be your best choice. The menu was very limited with no main course sized portions. The items on the menu were tasty, but for a group of 4 we could not assemble an entire meal. We enjoyed some appetizers, asparagus puree with zuchini for example was very tasty. Le Mary Céleste reste ce qui se fait de meilleur dans son genre, s'agissant de ses deux spécialités, à savoir les cocktails et les petits plats cuisinés autour des fruits de mer.Les cocktails sont toujours une réussite précise et audacieuse (mention spéciale au cocktail à l'écume de mer), les plats un parfait équilibre mettant savamment en exergue le goût des produits de la mer.Le cadre enfin est tamisé et élégant.Tous les ingrédients sont ici réunis pour passer une soirée de bon goût !

This place is buzzing! Busy, a bit chaotic but overall a great vibe. Very popular with locals and tourists alike. We were able to snag a spot at or near the bar for drinks without too much difficulty on both Friday and Saturday night. Didn't try the food other than the oysters which were fantastic. Gin martini expertly prepared. Good music (retro 60's/70's when we were there...) This area (upper Marais) has a great bar scene and Le Mary Celeste has definitely become one of our "go to" spots. Will definitely return (frequently) during future Paris trips.

We had been here before to the bar - bar staff is generally great and drinks are fantastic.It was our first time for dinner. The food was fantastic although two things we wanted to order were sold out for the night. Highly recommend the oysters with the jalapeño shots! Our server was quite cold from the beginning but we had a problem when she either forgot to order one dish we ordered OR the kitchen forgot to make it. I know these things happen so after waiting for 20 min after the rest of our food had arrived, I told her that we didn't need the last dish and we could order dessert instead.
