"We booked with Passeport Gourmand and the person who took our reservation by phone confirmed for 7:00 p.m. I asked twice if the restaurant accepted the Passeport Gourmand, and she said yes. We traveled 45 minutes to get to this restaurant, but when we arrived, the staff informed us that they had not taken the Passeport Gourmand for a week. We were disappointed that no one warned us before our arrival and we were confronted with arrogant and lying staff. We advise avoiding this restaurant."

Very good Thai restaurant, impeccable service, the site has a very beautiful view of the lake. Beautiful view, good food, what more could you ask for.

Good, affordable Thai and right on the lake a combination that makes you feel like you're on vacation! Favorite dishes red curry and green coconut curry. Strongly recommended!

To avoid dish arrived late waiting time 1h30, no excuse from them, once eating the food poisoning dish the service is lousy zeroooo but zeroooo I will never set foot here again.

Avoid. We made a reservation for a large group. After sitting down and waiting for 15 mins we asked for service they told us someone was coming down. They were rude after we asked again politely and just left. Waited 30 minutes altogether.

The quality has gone down over the years. And it's not as authentic as it once was. It used to be very spicy, now it's a bit tasteless. And the place itself is nothing to talk about. It is nice during summer though. Chinese doing service is not very good as expected. Still one of the better thai restaurants in town.

"I ordered catering services from Man'Ouchy for my thesis defense and I was incredibly happy with it. The team prepared a lovely selection of mezzés (falafel, spinach pie, rkakat feta, and kebbé accompanied by plenty of lebanese bread, taboulé, and dips (hummus and eggplant caviar . Many of my guests came up to me and told me how much they loved the food. I fully agree with them. I would definitely order again!"

"Very welcoming interior, focused menu, nice indoor/outdoor atmosphere. This is a real find in a city where food can be a very foul statement. The staff was young but perfectly poised, welcoming well-dressed diners and passers-by with heavy tattoos and children of the same grave. We will be back."

"Great service even if sometimes the waiters forgot us a little. The manager is great and the restaurant has changed a lot and is still evolving. The food is good, special mention for the desserts and the Sichuan-style eggplants. The dishes are very good, unfortunately it is not written in the menu whether the dishes are spicy or not. A few small areas for improvement but it's a great place, the atmosphere is great, the toilets are clean. I will go back without hesitation!"

"Il y a autant de variétés de pizza et de type locaux qu'il y a diversités culturelles en Italie.Ici elles sont fines, moyennes, au fond biscuité, probablement du type des Pouilles, je ne suis pas expert, demandez au patron. La pizza que j'ai mangé était bonne, le salami dessus délicieux. Personnellement je préfère les pizza très fine non huilée ou plus épaisse avec...., mais ça c'est qu'une question de goût.... ma che c.. vuoi?!!L'entrée au Gambas et avocat citron (ou lime?), coriandre.... est vraiment magnifique (attention toutefois à votre porte-monnaie!) et le tiramisu également.C'est une pizzeria du quartier, qui a gardé l'authenticité des pizzerie d'Italie très présentes dans les années 80 à Lausanne, ceci malgré la crise et aujourd'hui la concurrence d'une surpopulation de nouveaux restaurants qui se greffent à 10 mètres de vous et ne durent pas longtemps, juste l'histoire de bousculer ceux qui sont déjà en place,sans que la police du commerce ne daigne intervenir! La multiplicité entraîne la baisse de qualité!Revenons au CharbonEn résumé, la cuisine est bonne voir excellente, le personnel est très sympathique, le service rapide et très bien coordonné, le patron a de l'humour. Des restaurants authentique et vintage de ce style sont de plus en plus rares. Ah j'oubliais! La terrasse, au soleil jusqu'à 6h30 depuis début avril pour le café et le soir quand la circulation diminue est un vrai régal avec vue sur la quartier."
