We had an expectation from this restaurant because we reed here very good reviews. We ordered for first course cheese plat with jam and it was really good tasting we liked it very much. The fig jam was great. Than we got the second course and we had a big disappointment. The tomato pasta was way to much oil, almost drowned in oil!! The fungi pasta was very sour. We didn't waste our time for a dessert here.

Such a disappointment. From all places that served delicious food, we chose this place. The food was bad and not authentic Italian at all. The staff was overtaken and dismissed when we questioned the quality, and we had to request oil that I have never known in an Italian restaurant. The bill included a service fee of € 6 for which the bread is normally served. According to the waiter, we didn't notice anything! All we were told was cash only illegal, I think.

I was with my family for lunch, unfortunately as soon as we sit, we immediately realized that the environment was not very clean... The glasses above all... We ordered a house plate with cold cuts bruchetta cheese and for my children a dish of homemade pasta ... To understated... You did it again... A glass of wine and water .. Low quality anyway... I wouldn't go back... Advice for managers... After all negative reviews on travel adviser you... And clean the dishes, no!!! Then the dishes are tasted for cooking ... Improve!!! Visualizza piatti

Questo è un tipo di locale allegro. Come tutti gli altri sfigati, siamo finiti qui perché ovunque altro era pieno. Prenotate da qualche altra parte un sabato sera per evitare il nostro triste destino. La forchetta del mio amico era appiccicosa. La carbonara era gelida, fatta aggiungendo uovo sbattuto alla pasta fredda. Non va bene. Nessun piatto era buono. La bottiglia di vino locale indifferente che sarebbe stata ok a 4 euro per 500 ml era 22 euro per 750 ml. Non c'è niente di positivo da dire su questo posto oltre al fatto che erano disposti a darci da mangiare.

Mia sorella ed io siamo accaduti su questo ristorante quando camminiamo intorno a Siena una sera alla ricerca di un posto per cena. Sembrava un buon posto soprattutto perché era così piccolo e accogliente. Ci siamo seduti fuori in uno dei due tavoli che avevano allestito. Non avevo mai avuto tagliata prima, quindi l'ho ordinato, e mia sorella ha preso una pasta, e abbiamo un paio di bicchieri di vino. La tagliata era fuori da questo mondo. Pensavo fosse incredibile. Ho capito che forse era solo perché non l'avevo mai avuto prima, quindi per il resto del nostro viaggio ho continuato a ordinarlo. Ne avevo altri buoni, ma mai buoni come in questo posto. E il prezzo era totalmente ragionevole!

Dopo una mattinata di visita, eravamo alla ricerca di un posto dove mangiare. Siamo capitati in questo piccolo ristorante e ci è stato detto che il servizio sarebbe stato di 20 minuti perché lo chef era fuori. Eravamo felici di aspettare, ma avremmo voluto un drink per passare il tempo. Il menu era solo in italiano e pensavamo di poterlo capire. Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi, formaggi e uova morbide, che era abbondante per pranzo, ma delizioso. Mia moglie pensava di aver ordinato un'insalata ma è arrivato un piatto caldo a strati di carne. Non essendo un fan della carne, ho assaggiato ed era delizioso anche quello. Ignora le recensioni negative su questo ristorante, sono tutte scritte da coloro che non capiscono che si tratta di cibo italiano come piace agli italiani, senza concessioni per ignoranti britannici o americani. Dopo una mattinata di visite turistiche, questo era proprio ciò che cercavamo. Una piccola trattoria privata che serve cibo italiano fatto in casa proveniente da fonti locali. Il ristorante è piccolo, con pochi tavoli all'interno e solo tre all'esterno. Il cibo, il servizio e l'atmosfera sono rustici, senza fronzoli, ma il cibo è delizioso e bellissimamente presentato, con una buona selezione standard e una lavagna dei "speciali" che cambia regolarmente. Visited for late lunch. The signs were there immediately, but we were tired after a lot of sightseeing. The table next to us had just 'finished ' but lots of food were left on their plates. Our table needed clearing- it was- but the waiter did not wipe up and simply left the mess. Husband 's glass of wine was filthy. Asked for a new glass and an even dirtier one was brought. Should have bailed then, but as I say, we were tired. My first choice was finished , so I took the second of his suggestions. 5 mins later he arrived to say that was also finished . I chose again. I stumbled across this place after a morning of museums and wanted somewhere warm and cosy for a good meal before returning to Rome. Important: this place is under new management, so please ignore any old reviews (especially the negative ones) from before December 2017. This place is genuine and the guys that run it are keen to make a good impression. It's not that cheap, but then you are in central Siena and you would pay the same for much, much poorer quality in the Campo. To put it into context, I had 3 glasses of wine, a small bottle of water, generous board of meat and cheese and a delicious plate of gnocchi and a coffee on the house.
