Lemongrass - Piatti

Not what i expected at all. Great service, very clean and tidy. Fab selection on the menu. One of the best I have had. Will def be going again.

The restaurant is hidden among office blocks, but was reasonably close to our hotel in the south of Darmstadt to go to for a dinner. The service was prompt, the food was excellent and the bill was EUR 12 per person!

I went to Lemongrass to have thai food for dinner. Unfortunately the food was ready within 3 minutes like it was reheated and the taste was poor. I think this restaurant is focused on quick lunches however the quality was so poor that I would...even go there for a quick lunch. It's a pity because it is easy reachable by car.

I was a bit confused with the cozy reviews. the gray wooden table tops without table ceilings give the place a view of a canteen. but the service was efficient, eating was good if not very authentic. I asked to be hot and it was a pretty performance in most European Asian restaurant. cheaper place from the best western plus hotel

As I teach freelance English early evenings close to lemongrass my next stop is always there. The food, portions and service are excellent. Very, very popular place surrounded by office buildings so no end of customers. Being the only restaurant in the area helps. As...I am now a happy regular my drink arrives without asking and they know what I want to order. They even suggest alternatives so I don't get bored. Free street parking is not bad. Business meeting in the area and was able to get in (2 of us) w/out a reservation and had lunch in under 45 minutes. The place was packed and we were accommodated in the covered patio area that was perfect as the noise...level in the main restaurant was high given how busy the place was. Service a bit slow and distracted food was served fast as they suggest ordering from a daily menu strongly suggest you do this or likely will have to wait a bit. Food was good and will come back

I had for a long time believed that the Lemongrass closed at 6pm. In the past when working nearby I would go there for lunch. Recently reading reviews on TripA I noticed people reviewing evening meals. Yesterday as I was driving close by I stopped...and checked their opening times and to my great surprise they are (now open evenings 6pm until 9.30pm, so in I went ! As Lemongrass is only a five minute drive from my home I can see myself becoming a regular evening patron. As others have said the service is prompt and friendly the food was excellent. I had the Summer Spring Rolls' followed by a spicy Duck dish.

salty food I ever tasted. it is not a Thai restaurant, but mainly Chinese dishes, so they do not expect thai aromas of acid, sweet and salty in balance, it is only salty they get. I was in se Asia-Thailand, malaysia, singapur, vietnam, kamboja and laos, so I know. that eat very well. that was not that, it was Chinese who tried to make SEA food. I ordered their version of kung pao chicken. while the chicken and the sweet were perfectly cooked (see picture), but when they met their salty sauce, it was ruined. they made it for me new and it was the SAME mirror.
