"The big toasts are not bad, but the burger is a shame. First of all the waitress was too busy hitting on the guys in the other table to ask how we wanted our meat. The burger came rare, and we wanted well done, so we had to send back to the kitchen. The meat was bad quality freezed one, the bread was old and the salad not good. I don't recommend it... To finish, the excess of decoration give a "dirty" aspect to the restaurant in total."

My husband and I are her for a casual Sunday lunch. Very busy with young locals which created a great atmosphere. Salad and open sandwich was delicious but the Soup of the day gazpacho was a standout. Great coffee and desserts looked amazing but we didn't try! Waiters spoke decent English. Great value for a casual local cafe.

Can we say that it is the tourist and y tourist I do not mean only foreigners, by excellence.I do not know but the guy outside is efficient, the rotation of table impressive and the food is simple and straight forward... The definition of a bouchon I guess with prices that have increased since bouchon's time... We like ti but will not come back

L'epicerie was excellent for our family of five. I would rate it an excellent value. The tartines were under 6 euros and the wine was 8,90 for 46cl. Their deserts are huge and very tasty. It is a friendly place, you sit with others at your table. We had a very friendly man at our table who regaled us with spots in Lyon we had to see. It is bustling and the oysters looked amazing. Overall it was a great evening at a wonderful price.
