We've known better. the entrance with 3 small sardine fillets, although good, a little light but it is nothing next to the dessert around the fishing where 2 small fishing districts swim in a fishing plot, very disappointing, tastefully in quantity. only comfort the frame is always pleasant, just like the staff but we were almost hungry every 4 when we left the table. L'entrée avec 3 petits filets de sardines, bien que bon, un peu léger mais ce n'est rien à côté du dessert autour de la pêche où 2 petits quartiers de pêche nageaient dans une compotée de pêche, très très décevant,gustative ment en en quantité. Seule consolation le cadre est toujours agréable, tout comme le personnel mais nous avions presque faim tous les 4 en sortant de table. On a pourtant toujours été satisfait jusqu'à présent. Epicuriens, nous recherchions un cadre verdoyant et raffiné en Charente pour célébrer notre mariage. Après nous y être rendus à 2 reprises nous avons été conquis par le cadre et la cuisine de L'Essille. Laurent et son équipe ont répondu à nos attentes. L'organisation a été parfaite. Le vin d'honneur en terrasse avec diverses boissons à discrétion était accompagné de verrines, feuilletés, accras et autres pièces réalisés avec justesse par le chef en cuisine. Le repas qui s'en est suivi dans la salle du restaurant à la décoration moderne a été exquis.
