"Restaurant très sympathique. Une serveuse très professionnelle et impliquée pendant que son collègue masculin était très cool... Le menu à 14€90 est très bon. Les assiettes sont copieuses et nous avons mangé, sans le demander, en 1h paiement compris. Si j'avais un seul bémol c'est sur la propreté de la salle(bouts de pain qui traînent sous les meubles, toiles d'araignées....) mais niveau service et assiette rien à dire. Je recommande et y retournerai si nous revenons dans le coin."

"This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and we visited it twice on our recent trip to Gourdon. Bellevue restaurant is at the end of a row of cafes and restaurants that have terrace seating, near the circular road that circumvents the old medieval area. It does have a lovely and far reaching view too. There is a friendly and pleasant French lady serving, and the food is all the usual local fare including duck and foie gras, but it is a notch above the other restaurants because the food is beautifully cooked and accompanied by delicious sauces. The desserts are amazing if you can possibly find the room for them. We had profiteroles which was in fact one big fat profiterole, filled with ice cream and topped with warm chocolate sauce - believe me it was yummy - not too sweet, choux pastry still crisp and proper chocolate with depth of flavour. If we ever return to Gourdon I will make a bee-line to get to the Bellevue again."

"Very good atmosphere at server level and very professional. Bring no little cakes or mini bite... For the menu offered no less than 26.90 € damage that you are offered fries and ho surprises of frozen blown apples....moyen. Otherwise the entrance and dessert very good because the duck was not rosé but too cooked. Too bad because it was certainly at the base a good product."

"Très mauvaise expérience. Nous ne reviendrons pas. Les plats ne sont pas de grandes qualités. Fade, les légumes ont pas trop de goût... Mais le pire, c'est les quantités. Sur 4 personnes, personne n'étaient rassasiés. Le Gravlax devait pesait 12g dans l'assiette, j'ai réussi à tenir l'entièreté de ma purée de Carottes dans une fourchette. L'ayant signalée au serveur, celui ci s'est montré assez agressif et de mauvaise foi. Apparemment c'était la première fois qu'on lui faisait la remarque mais je viens de lire d'autres commentaires identique et la table d à côté était aussi choqué des quantités. Certaines photos ne représente pas les plats que nous avions donc soit ils ont baissé les quantités soit c'est aléatoire et c'est au petit bonheur la chance en fonction de l'humeur du patron. Bref ce restaurant etait une très mauvaise expérience. Nous n'y retournerons plus"

Unfortunately, the long wait for dessert degrades the balance sheet. answer to the owner: yes, service and waiting are part of the experience of a restaurant we pay for. Yes, a waiting too long degrades the quality of the meal even if it is correct. If you have chosen the restoration is that you accept the codes. Your totally vehement response as I wrote a constructive critique and that I was very honest with the notation proves that you are in the refusal of criticism. Let me tell you that if you are not able to send daily dishes and desserts in a reasonable time, then I have difficulty in imagining a service in the summer. Perhaps it would be appropriate to reduce the size of your room, in any case, to question you and to show a little humility instead of rejecting the opinions of customers who are your reason to be.
