However, this restaurant, located in the basement of the castle of Auvers-sur-Oise, could have been anywhere else, not making us enjoy its setting. Terrestrial foods were less appreciated. an excellent dessert, named royal chocolate, chocolate mousse on a cookie with a few drops of mango coulis and raspberry, was excellent though, certainly, industrially prepared. the slices of two cheeses were waiting but floated on the salad dressing that accompanied them. Inside, the leafy pie of vegetables to the cretan (why was this title?) passable. On the other hand, the "sleeves in the oven," served with the pork roast, completely soft, swimming in his sauce! Of course, it is difficult to prepare a meal for 150 people, for a moderate price we do not know. However, for a party meal, the participants would have hoped for another main dish as well as a wine better than the gamay that was served in carafe, without indication of the origin."

what a great surprise!!! I recommend this restaurant for the place itself, as it is part of the castle, its very elaborate and excellent cuisine and the last but far from being the least service. short: decent price/quality taste meal in... a wonderful place for first-class staff.

We had lunch at this restaurant. The food and service were wonderful. The price was very reasonable 12 Euros for Appetizer Main or Main Dessert, and 18 Euros for all 3 courses. The portions were generous. The restaurant has limestone/rock walls and...arches and is behind the chateau.
