"My mum and I visited today, we went by most of the cafes on the off chance one of them did a vegan cream tea. This is where we found one! The cafe itself is beautiful, retro but tasteful and the garden is magical and abundant with flowers. The cream tea was delicious, everything was handmade by the chef and the cream was far more delicious than I remember clotted dairy cream to be. The woman who served us was super chatted and helpful (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name Thanks for having us! Xx"

Every time we come to cheddar lion tea room is one of our go to place. The atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing with a great selection of vegan options ranging from amazing hot chocolate, desert and nice home meals.

Ordered 1 vegetarian afternoon tea (for me) and a regular one for my boyfriend. Unfortunately they both came served on the same tray meaning meat sandwiches and vegetarian sandwiches were in contact. It wasn’t too much of a concern for me but just a warning for vegans/veggies dining with non-veg friends.

Lovely tea rooms also doing great all day breakfasts and lunches in the heart of Cheddar, a stone's throw from the main cave entrance and other attractions of the Gorge. Lovely food plentiful and good value with a fun 1940s/50s vibe to the place. Nice roof terrace area for when the weather's good. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Cheddar if going there for a day out
