"Mein Vater war viele Jahre zuerst im Rössli und dann im Kreuz Küchenchef. Ca. 1949- 1969 Das ist mit ein Grund dass wir ab und zu in Balsthal sind wo ich aufgewachsen bin.Da unser Hochzeitstag am Chlausetag ist sind wir fast jährlich in Balsthal am Chlausemärit.Gestern haben wir im Kornhaus gegessen und es war herrlich.Wir bestellten den Business Lunch, 3 Sorten Fisch mit diversen Saucen mit Reis. Zur Vorspeise eine herrliche Suppe und auch dass Dessert war ein Traum. Die Bedienung äusserst freundlich.Wir kommen bestimmt wieder."

"A few days ago I ordered a salami pizza. The delivery took over 50 minutes... I live one street away... then a day later I order beer and cigarettes with my girlfriend. After I was asked several times for my name and street when ordering, I assumed that the order would arrive. I'm also a regular customer and people should slowly get to know me and my street. After 30 minutes I looked at my friend's phone. Unfortunately we missed calls because the phone was silent. I called back and asked why they didn't ring the doorbell. My bell is properly marked. The supplier claims to have rung the bell, but this is 1000 percent not true. I have 2 dogs and they bark at every little noise. THEN... the delivery person said he would be there in 15 minutes.... After another 20 minutes I called him and he said he didn't have time now??? What are these games supposed to do? If I had ordered somewhere else the stuff would have arrived. I've been a customer of yours for years, but now I'm getting fed up. I'm looking for a delivery service that understands German..."

"Absolutely AWESOME! We regularly go to Cafe Knaus on Sundays and despite all the stress, the staff are very friendly and sometimes even funny : The food is great. Almost everything except the fish menu was always fresh and VERY DELICIOUS. Almost as good as the “grosi” The staff is also very, very helpful. My girlfriend lost her ring (stupid of her we were able to leave a phone number in case it was found. A few hours later, when there wasn't so much going on, we took the time and found the ring. HAMMER! Thank you very much and keep it up Can't understand the negative reviews at all. Don't think that this is the staff's fault Unfortunately, many people have problems with themselves and then like to let it out to others!"

The staff is friendly and almost always in the right place at the right time. Overall good impression and enough parking spaces are available.
