"Of course, on Valentine's Day it is very crowded in such a restaurant, but you would have to know this in advance in the personnel planning with almost complete reservation. The food came quickly, the service was friendly, but not as courteous as usual. No meat presentation, for example. That certain something was missing. When you eat the last bite, the question of whether everything is okay is no longer appropriate. My wife orders wine from the wine list, I am not asked if I would like something to drink. Then the food is on the table, the wine is still missing and I first have to call the waiter to order another drink. Unfortunately, the process was not optimal here. To refine a side dish for more than the side dish itself costs, I think it is excessive. We had sweet potato fries with and without truffles. Both taste almost identical, unfortunately both are quite salty. Regular price again for the truffle aroma, which you can't even see and hardly taste. I'm happy to spend good money on food, but it was just over the top. The meat was very good as always. We'll definitely be back, but not soon"

The restaurant is in a great location, the view is towards the Frankfurt skyline. The food is top notch, the steaks are terrific, the staff are all very friendly. The atmosphere with the fireplace and the African furniture is cozy

I am overwhelmed again and again when eating at the lodge. It's so incredibly delicious that even now, when I write about it, my mouth is watering. Definitely and definitely recommended. It's like a short trip to an exotic country! Many thanks to the wonderful kitchen and of course a big thank you to the restaurant team
