Great food! Very meaty. because veggie options are very limited for dinner (two options, one of them a veggie burger). Friendly staff and nice building.

Service was fast and with a smile. We had an incident with one of the steaks (was well done, not medium rare) and it was quickly fixed and got a round of drinks on the house. Good coordination between servers overall. Food was delicious.

Amazing food, just classic Dutch fare! The steak is amazing and a must have. The carpaccio and goat cheese are delicious starters. Pleasant Restaurant Cafe. I had a trio of fish which was very decent. Enough smoked eel and lovely Dutch shrimps. A main course of steak with bacon and chicken liver. They give a stack of bread to do the excellent gravy justice. A dessert of strawberries, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Excellent meal. The place is somewhat crowded here and there, but it's ok. Staff are mostly professional.

Service was great, friendly staff. The steak itself was delicious. A word of warning about the gravy, I had the sambal, and it was probably my fault for not understanding the dish, however it felt like half and half salt and oil, I felt sick afterward for eating so much oil and salt. And only had 2 pieces of bread dipped in it, didn't finish 1/4 of the gravy. I think it's there for flavour and not something to be fully eaten. Would love to know where I went wrong please if you have a chance to respond. Fries were great. Drinks were delicious. Would have been nice to have had the fries or potato included for the price.

Saturday afternoon and the clouds had covered Amsterdam. We had checked into our hotel and hit Google to find a restaurant to eat at. And trust me when I say the food and service deserves more than 5 stars. The waiter advised that the steak ordered be medium rare. And he was right. Those in the UK would class this as rare. It was perfectly cooked and rested. I took the liver bacon and onion topping. And if I am completely honest with the side of sautéed mushrooms would have made a meal in itself without the steak. The sweet potato fries with homemade garlic mayonnaise was the perfect accomplishment. We decided on a bottle of sauvignon blanc which worked so well with the meal. I would highly... Visualizza piatti
