What a lovely gem hidden away by a village green. Very friendly and chatty staff. There are vegan items on the menu and also a selection of vegan bakery items. The place itself is cosy with tables both inside and out and plenty of parking. Wouldn't hesitate to go again, loved everything about it.

This restaurant, located on the outskirts, is a gem for vegetarians and vegans. The staff, including the owners, are extremely friendly and eager to hear feedback. The manager, who is vegan, heavily influences the menu offerings. They offer two milk options for coffee, delicious vegan and gluten-free brunch choices, and even had cakes available during our visit. It was a pleasant surprise!

Vegetarian and Vegan friendly restaurant hidden in suburbia. The staff were very friendly, as were the owners who we met whilst there and they were really keen to hear our feedback. The manager is vegan so has a large amount of input into the menu and what is available. Two milk options for nicely made coffee, amazing vegan and gluten free brunch options and I even had cake for the first time in ages! No complaints.

herr roberts on the green a jewel. we discovered this jewel of a place randomly during a walk in the neighboring. it serves large coffee, cake, scorp and lunch. the service is friendly and fast. the ambiente is typically British and picturesque. this old building was a post office until recently. an old oil painting by Lord roberts hangs on the wall through the cake. I wish they would serve wein! the young couples who own this jewel are so beautiful and warm. give this place a shot; they will just love it.

We had a wide variety of vegan cake options available at this restaurant today. There was a delicious chocolate layer cake, lemon cake, fruitcake with the choice of coconut cream, vegan scones with currants (also available as part of a vegan cream tea), and a vegan banana dessert. They also offered a choice of soy, almond or coconut milk for coffee or tea. I particularly enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate cake, as the sponge was very good and the taste was delicious. I would highly recommend it. The lemon cake was also very tasty. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We had so much choice of vegan cakes this afternoon peanut butter and chocolate layer cake, lemon cake, fruit tart with option of coconut cream, vegan scones with currants (also available as a vegan cream tea) and there was also a vegan banana and something slice. Also choice of soya, almond or coconut milk in coffee or tea. I really enjoyed the peanut butter choc cake, very good sponge and good flavour, highly recommended. Also the lemon cake was very good. This is a mixed review. 1) This is awesome that they are serving vegan options as choice is limited in the area and I 'll keep coming back to support that initiative 2) The owner came over to each table and asked how things were and the table service was friendly and environment outside pleasant. The cons can hopefully be changed as I want to keep going back! I went in ready to order my vegan cake and was told that oh we don 't have any as our vegan chef is on holiday but we have gluten free, can you eat that? .
