good food, very helpful waiter great location near our heated ski cabinets would like to book daily or they will not likely get a place in the midday peak

A great lunchtime watering hole after a morning on the slopes. Snack bar for quick service or a restaurant if you want to take your time. Stunning views of the mountains.

long sunny lunch. the best place on this mountain piece always a good sign when the ski instructors are there daily stunning salate large steak. the service was slow, but nice.

Great food all the normal mountain stuff but healthier stuff too. Nice modern atmosphere and good views. Not the cheapest but the execution is excellent and staff are efficient and pleassant.too

a tin that canceled our reservation because we were 10 minutes too late. on another okkka we could sit at 2:15 a.m. on a table, we ordered a drink, but 5 minutes later came another waitress and told us we could just stsy when we eat. she was arrogant

Best restaurant at Samoens 1600. They do a wonderful fried cheese salad (the cheese is coated in a walnut and hazelnut crumb yum! with slices of local sausage. The variety of salad vegetables on the plate is excellent and, despite being listed under starters ,...it is easily big enough for a lunch. Really friendly staff and quick, efficient service too.

This restaurant is located to the right of the Grand Massif Express cable car station as you reach the top at 1600 m. Overall itwas a very good experience. A good and varied menu choice, reasonable prices and friendly service. We had a hamburger, a...steak haché, an entrecote and some lamb chops, and it was generous and tasty, perfect on a cold snowy mid afternoon. Nothing fancy, but above the average ski resort restauarant. Recommended if you go ski in Samoens.

I have been here every season since it opened and it gets better every year. The kids meals are substantial enough and good value. The adult options are great; everything from trad burgers and potato gratin, through to tasty salads. I had the doits salad...(sausage) which is a dish which combines healthy eating with really tasty sausages caringly prepared (sliced, filled with local cheese, and wrapped in bacon to ‘reassemble’. Booking essential for lunch. But you can drop in for a beer later and be made very welcome. Staff excellent.

very nice staff in this restaurant. it is really busy between 12noon and 2pm, so also in the early season they need to book between these times. after that there are many replacement tables. I was pleased to see that she was still the fabulous salate I had last year (saint marcellin cheese coated with walnut and hazelnut cancer). the salat itself is the best we have found in this opposite. no soggy limp salat here many different, fresh ingredients and a huge help! the French woof soup was also beautiful with a huge cheesy crumb rubber!
