Popped in for tea and home made cakes really nice staff the cakes were yummy and the interior very cute. Also very clean and covid conscious. stars

I would highly recommend this cozy restaurant with its charming quirks. The friendly staff greeted us warmly and the fresh produce and delicious coffee were all reasonably priced.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The welcome was lovely and the high tea was superb. Make sure to inquire about the scones with meringue inside, which are served with homemade lemon curd. Wow!

Amazing afternoon tea. Gorgeous lemon meringue and fruit scones excellent value for money. Lovely quirky shop very pleasant staff and lovely looking cakes will definitely return again during my stay in Coldstream.

Family of 4 stopped here for lunch. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We had macaroni, tuna sandwich and two baked potatoes. All portions were a good size so we could not manage any cakes though they looked delicious

What a fabulously imaginative and immersive Lewis Carroll wonderland in which to enjoy a delicious full English breakfast and welcome cup of tea. It was a bit early for cake even for us but there was a mouthwatering display of sweet delights on the Wonderland dresser. The owners of this delightful tea room were obliging and friendly. Well worth a visit if you're in the beautiful town of Coldstream.

This charming and unique cafe is a delightful spot to grab a bite. The scones were freshly baked and still warm, with a perfect balance of flavors. I tried the date and walnut scone and it was so delicious on its own, no accompaniments needed. My friend opted for the fruit scone and also thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was warm and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. It's no wonder this cafe is a popular choice among locals.

We just happened to park outside The Mad Hatter's Tea Room and called in to ask about ice-creams. There was a choice of three ice-cream sundaes. We chose a vanilla and toffee and a mega chocolate. They were delicious. The whole experience was delightful as the place is full of Alice in Wonderland connected objects, posters, books etc. The owner was very friendly and happy to talk through the history and relevance. What an unexpected find. Worth a visit and the ice-cream sundaes were the bonus!
