"Booked the day before, we arrive a little late, no worries for the welcome which was charming: First glances, the dining room is cozy, the armchairs cute, the restaurant decor is trendy. Low volume music giving the nice soundscape. The starters were as tasty as they were well presented, even a little surprise in the association of tastes. The dishes, more traditional, were very well made, no errors in cooking or seasoning, the sauces highlighting the meat well, and the effort of presentation always welcome. The wine advice was perfect, my glass of Corsican wine was even surprising and went wonderfully with my beef. We were able to taste only one dessert, because we had eaten well before, the chocolate cake was very good as well as the accompanying vanilla ice cream. "Nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant et nous n'avons pas été déçu !La spécialité est la fondue chinoise, plat que nous ne connaissions pas. Nous avons découvert des légumes et des champignons originaux que nous ne connaissions pas et qui étaient vraiment délicieux. L'accueil était très bien, en plus, comme nous étions novices dans la découverte de la fondue chinoise, la serveuse nous a tout expliqué, ce qui était très gentil ! Il faut bien penser à réserver car il n'y a pas beaucoup de place dans ce restaurant. Et enfin, le rapport qualité/prix est excellent, à deux avec une boisson nous en avons eu pour 40€ et les produits étaient frais. Nous y retournerons, mais cette fois-ci pour gouter les autres plats proposés."

"Arrived with reservation for 1 person. I advised owners that I spoke no French and they were kind to offer assistance. However, in addition to the regular menu, I was show the menu du jour which looked delicious (and it was! . But the pricing was 37 Europe for 2 people. When I selected it, I assumed, incorrectly, that an adjustment would be made to the pricing for a solo diner. Not the case. There was a complimentary taster of cream of mushroom soup followed by a starter consisted of a delicious scallops with leek cream sauce en croute. Amazingly good. The main was a piece of chicken (small breast/thigh in a brown sauce with spiced carrots and potatoes lyonnaise. Choice of cheese or tiramisu (a strawberry French version, I guess for dessert. Considering portion size, as well as set menu pricing, this did not seem like good value, altho I have no complaints about the food taste or quality. By 8:30, this small restaurant was filled to capacity. Make a reservation on The Fork."

"according to the consecrated formula: a place like we would like to find more often. everything is the atmosphere, the service is too little there, the deco and obviously the kitchen. a generous man who loves his profession, his products, and who knows perfectly well to marry both. and all this in the simplicity. "Only just of the beaten track which makes parking much easier! This restaurant is expensive in relation to others but is good value considering the quality and service. The menu takes a bit of working out as prices for steak are quoted by weight (multiples of 100gms) and the minimum weight you can order is also stated. To make matters more complicated you can also chose how many weeks the meat has been matured for. Whether you choose Classic or 4 week mature, the quality is all good and extremely well cooked. Even meat cooked very rare is melting. This is a "proper" steak restaurant so make sure you go for the steak. There are fixed price menus but I would keep it simple. Steak, chips with its side of vegetables. Pork and lamb is also available and there is a concession to non-meat eaters in the form of a mushroom omelette. I am sure it is delicious ......Wine is also priced at the top end and excellent. . House wine is also very acceptable.Whenever we have visited the clientele have been all French from the professional classes who are there to see and be seen. Its fascinating ! One little niggle. At the price, the amuse bouche could have been more exciting than a thin slice of fairly mundane salami with a chunk of bread. For faux filet (250 gms) and a large entrecote steak (450 gms) , with a bottle of AC Beaujolais the bill will be around 70 Euros. A starter and pud could increase that by at least 20 Euros. Nevertheless, recommended for the quality, service and ambience. The staff are really charming."
