"Great food, with daily specials in both savory and sweet crepes, plus a wide selection of a la carte selections. It is like stepping into a favorite Brittany spot. The traditional savory crepes are made from buckwheat, and taste the most authentic and freshest we have had in Pau. Most have cheese as a base; we love the mushroom and cheese, and have tried the special both times we have come (once a salmon with potatoes and cream that was divine, the other a sausage with coconut milk that had an Indian-twist and was delicious . The presentation is lovely, with a little salad presented in small galette cup. They are, as is traditional, somewhat rich, so pair it with hard cider (classic or wine. The dessert crepes--which are classically simple, whether butter and sugar or lemon or chocolate--were equally tasty, if you have room. (For Americans, sweet ones are made with refined flour. They also have kouign-aman, with different accent flavors each day: a rich little cake that is great with coffee. They have created a charming atmosphere with neighborhood feel and creative flair: painted rocks and walls, feels like a secret find, mixing French and Celtic roots. Located near Les Halles--a farmers market open daily."

Super nice little restaurant where the galettes are generous and delicious! I recommend without moderation. Try kouign amann and Lamballe Pau for dessert, it's too good!

Super! I have to say the crepes were excellent. There was a large variety and combinations to choose from. I choose ham and potatoes and my friend enjoyed the salmon. Everything in the tradition and style of Bretagne (Brittany for us Yankees), meaning full of buckwheat! For drinks there are also ciders, whiskey and you can even get the famous Breizh Cola! The small pastries were delicious too.

A little bit of Brittany in Bearn.
