What a great place if you love fish dishes. Well prepared portions and superb tastes. It was so good we went back next day to try some other dishes. Highly recommended. Check opening times first.

I had an incredible experience at Mara Fish Bar Deli. We tried the curry, mac and cheese, and some sourdough bread. The staff were so much fun that we decided to return for flat whites the next morning. I give it a perfect 10 out of 5 stars!

I visited just last week and had an amazing meal. I tried the vegan option, which was a banana blossom curry, and it was beautifully cooked and incredibly fresh. The staff were friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit. I will definitely be coming back!

We thought this was a fish and chip shop but it is not. They do a variety of eat in or take way meals. We tried the Hake and roast vegetable take away meal and it was fabulously tasty. They also do various breads which we did not have time to explore. Not cheap but good value for money. Only open two days a week so check first.

beautiful small fishable with view of the bay. the bbq went and the smells were amazing. we had the cuddles in garlic butter, cajun hake burger with butternut cheese, hasselback potatoes and arran senf roasted carrots. eating was delicious, hot and really fresh. worth a visit. order them in advance to make sure they get what they want. I dined here during my first trip to Arran, and I will definitely be returning! The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The fish was incredibly fresh, easily some of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the mussels in white wine and pesto sauce, and it was outstanding! There were also fantastic vegetarian and vegan options for my friends. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious brownie. I highly recommend this place! A perfect 10/10, plus the restaurant offers stunning views.
