Marcos In The Park - Piatti

We absolutely adored the atmosphere at this restaurant. The coffee and tea were customized to our liking with a "London Fog" twist. The service was warm and welcoming. This cafe in the park quickly became one of our favorite spots and a cherished memory.

What a fantastic find! Stumbled upon this place by chance and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I tried the carrot cake and it was absolutely delicious. I also appreciated the extra touch of having blankets available for guests.

Walked the dogs in a very flooded Porthkerry park today, be aware the pitch and putt is now a series of made ponds and the walk along the tree edge has gone. Beautiful sunny day so we sat outside for lunch, ordered the Mexican chicken...baguette which came with a lovely side salad and crisps but.. the chips here are amazing so had to have what came literally as a bucketful,lol, fresh crisp and very hot. I did take a photo, or so I thought but damn phone did not register it, just got a shot of the flooded paths etc. Well worth a visit and a great price., two superb meals just over a tenner.

after a beautiful bankholiday typical weather took a lesson for worse and it was half-term so with children and in the Porthkerry Park, it was still raining when we arrived and children moaning starved so parked and embarked on a caffe. it was a beautiful place with...possibilities and sanitizer in the square and sitting area with large sun umbrellas the food was freshly cooked to order and nice and hot and beautiful tasting and also served a good selection of cakes and ice cream. portions were very generous and children's meals especially excellent value for money. would definitely recommend and return

this is the second year in which we visited marcos in porthkerry park, last year during covid, it was wet, and there was only one other person in caffe, but I remember that covid rules were very strict, and the security of staff and customers were...paramount that was eating well and encouraged us to call again. in this year the sun shined, the parking lot much more busy, and the caffe with many customers. since I remembered that eating was very good, the service was good, and the prices were very reasonable. my wife had the suppe that was excellent. We met up with friends at Porthkerry, and after a great time walking and exploring the woods, the children were cold and hungry. We decided to give this little cafe a go, as it is situated in the main car park. From the outside it...is very simple, but inside they had the most amazing selection of cakes on display. I ordered my three children a lunch bag, which consisted of sandwiches, crisps, a cookie, a piece of fruit and a drink. The children sandwiches were full size, and they were able to select their choice of crisps, cookie and drink. absolutely terrible experience not recommend! waited minutes on chips! we asked the workers twice where our food was, the first time they told us that they were busy, although the manager/owner had time to have a chat and with someone. outside they preach social distancing and according to the Kovid rules by making customers wearing masks, but the personal did not when we went to check where our eating was not one coworker had their mask on. they were very stubborn on the track and trace shapes and had brought us to the way, although we had already filled them, but we had not yet received our food. even if we wait for the manager over that he was very rude, asking, we could also see that oth...

Well what an absolute shame about the rude woman with dark short hair talking to me like a naughty little child placed my order and was told to get out and stand by the door because someone else is ordering even are allowed in the shop at once and by the door I was in fact closer than two meters to the lady whereas I was standing on the markers in the shop two meters away ...
