"We have visited The Massala Hut dozens of times over the years and feel a glowing review is due, specially after last nights visit. As a couple we are massive curry fans and eaten in hundreds of restaurants, both here and aboard, plus I make a great many at home from scratch. We know what we like and what makes a great curry, take it from me The Massala hut makes a splendid curry, in fact (in my opinion) the best in Leeds and beyond. We had their Achari Lamb chop starter that came out sizzling on a bed of fresh onions, that had been cooked to perfection (crispy and almost burned on the outside succulent and tender on the inside coated in a beautiful spicy and tangy dark sauce). My favorite curry is generally a Dopiaza and I love a fish curry (I think there is only two actual fish currys on the menu which I have had loads of times) so this time asked if they would do me a fish dopiaza, not a problem! it was outstanding and went beautifully with a cheese naan. Yes the prices have shot up in recent months (like every where) but this is top class food and have never had a bad meal from here. The service is always great, with friendly staff. Take a bottle of your own wine to drink, order a curry of your choice, the perfect meal out!"

This restaurant is amazing if you want a lovely curry. Really friendly staff. We love going there as a family. Definitely recommended. Thw only thing is it is hidden away.

Great restaurant. We've been a few times and had taken aways too and the food is always extremely good with great, friendly service. Always a great night out at Masala Hut.

Great little place, food is great as is service. It is cash-only and only serves sift-drinks although you can bring your own alcohol and the restaurant will provide glasses

Went on Saturday food was excellent..staff were great ..only problem the bill came to £83 put £100 to pay in £20 notes ..never got brought any change ..if we'd have got our change it would have a 5 star review ..

This place is the real deal, the food is on point and the portions are very generous, very tasty and the food was definitely freshly cooked. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Will be definitely eating here again very soon, I'm already scanning the menu for what to try next time!

I had ordered take-out, and it was a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Chips were microwaved, and the curry was watery and bland; plain too with literally only chicken in. I felt as if the chicken was old and, indeed, not fresh. I ordered a mixed kebab starter; the chicken was old, and one of the pieces was pink (probably not cooked properly or a cheap chicken alterative). Onion bhajis looked asif they had been cooked in oil at low temperatures. Overall, I will never be calling he again. The delivery driver didn't even stay to give me my change.
