"We had lunch here today, in the garden. We chose the sweet potato burger (with a yummy brown roll and a delicious sriracha mayonnaise) and the Buddha box (brown rice, falafel, hummus, veg) and thought both were excellent for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike tasty...and healthy and not expensive. I don’t know when I was last so impressed with a meal in a cafe! Service with a smile, too."

I had coffee today and a vegan marmite cook, which was delicious and just from the many. there were some vegan cakes and they are proud of their vegan offers. worth visiting if in the opposite.

We popped into Matthews Hall Cafe for lunch and had a great lunch. We both chose the Buddha Bowl which was excellent and very good value for money. We sat outside and it felt very safe friendly and efficient service.

My first visit back to the cafe since before lock down. All organised really well for social distancing and felt friendly and safe. The cheese, pesto and tomato toastie was amazing. Really can’t fault anything. Will be visiting again soon.

It was clean, spacious, and had proper homemade cakes and scones. I had a hot cross scone. I was wary about trying it and very surprised at how delicious it was. The coffee was lovely and the two staff were really nice. I’ve visited here...a few times and have always been impressed.

I and my partner had vegetable quesadilla toasties with vegan bee and vegan pesto, it was great to see a lot of veggie and vegan options that are clearly well thought out instead of thought out! they also had soy and heel milk available. in this area there are very few places that they get vegan options, let alone really delicious!
