the taste is heavenly and the atmosphere is great. not typical touristic, but more authentic. enjoyed every moment and every dish. great chilled white wine from Italy contributed to satisfaction.

this is not one of these Italian restaurants with waiters that would cut off well on the beach of rimini, but in the possession of a passionate German owner with over twenty years experience in italia. a chef from abruzzo and a maître from apulia complete the history. real Italian food at a good price.

we booked a table at mazzini for a silvester dinner and what was for an evening meal! we have eaten a tasting menu that was only made for this evening, and almost everything was good! the place is small and intimate and the service could not be better. our silvester party could not have been better!We loved mazzini and will definitely come back!

eating was not the only one in this hospitable house for surprise! I really like to try new locals and I am constantly looking for new locals, but this restaurant I will stay true. the natives must become my new favorite place. the deco on the tables and throughout the restaurant is sensible and aesthetic. the bathroom is always too clean and everything in all, the local gives a great impression. not only was the attentive staff when I visited the whole bestseller, but also the unique flair.

after a visit at the institute français I discovered by coincidence the nearby restaurant mazzini. it was quite late, so I asked if it was possible to serve some salume (worst) and would be a good wee. the waiter was very hospitable and tried to propose to us (me and my friends) some wee and to make them fit best to the ordered feeds. because the environment was also very pleasant, we had a great evening that I ended with an excellent Italian double espresso. if they are in the neighbourhood, they do not miss this address.

we are stumbled by a happy coincidence in this place, in a side street of the Kurfürstendamm. eating is solid Italian cuisine and the wine card, both the open wine in the glass and the wine card in itself, is very impressive. atmosphere cool, people (both at the tables and at the waiter) friendly. a thing to know is that there are apparently two sizes of weingüssen (for the open:) small and normal. small is the price on the menu, normal is exactly that, but can cost up to twice the list price. both may be fair, but if they expect one and get the other, they may be a bit of clinking before they pay.

in the midday, often utterly empty, although the midday prices for barley dishes are extremely reasonable, 6.50€ for a barley dish and 8.50€ for barley dish salat or dessert. So you can't complain and that's right at Uhlandstrasse/Kurfürstendamm.The service is very courteous, only it actually haperes a bit with the portions. then rather pay 1€ more, so we would certainly come back, because it is actually a real Italian restaurant. next time I will try a meat dish, had to find out on the board that the prices of relatiw were reasonable (€16-18) hopefully the portions...we will see and then report to us.

when we looked at the restaurants in the surroundings, we concentrated on mazzini and he convinced us immediately. I don't remember the ground well, but at the end we decided to eat there.
