"Meltmongers had a soft open and has now closed until 13th May. This is the highly anticipated second location for Meltmongers in Edinburgh. I could finish this review by just saying these are the best cheese toasties you will ever have but that seems to undersell how awesome the food available here is. For a truly gourmet grilled cheese experience come along and choose from one of the many different varieties of cheese toasties, which they call Melts. Melts include fairly basic Cheese to Tuna through to Ham and Egg and even burger themed Melts. For the sweet tooth there is a Nutella and Banana Melt. Prices are more than reasonable for a large grilled cheese experience and a Melt by itself makes a decent lunch. For those with a large appetite there are also sides available including amazing chips. Top tip, don’t miss out on the cheese sauce. Highly recommended."

Sometimes you dont want a fully blown meal just need some creature comforts. Meltmongers fills this gap effortlessly and offers the most amazing cheese toasties with some imaginative and quality ingredients! The only sad thing is the last bite as it leaves you feeling you want more! The best streetfood offering in Edinburgh by far!

Been waiting a while to get into the Dundas Street shop for a cheese toastie, and so glad we waited! Ordered the Christmas special with added turkey and the burger one (still enjoy being told it'll take xmins to be ready that way I know it's fresh! . Both toasties as expected were delicious and packed full of filling, and ultimately flavour...and when I say filling I don't just mean the oozing cheese. Cannot wait to go back in the new year.
