Came here for light lunch after shopping along the Mariahilfer Straße Shopping street. Good friendly and fast service. Waiter can speak English well. Ordered mini pizza and italian red wine; all was okay. Conveniently located in front of Leiber's department store

Waren dreimal dort und waren immer bestens zufrieden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Getränke waren sehr gut gekühlt und die Speisen waren super. Trotz aller Hitze, die letzten Sommer herrschte, waren die Bedienung nett und freundlich und vor allem hat man die Sachen auch zügig bekommen. The caffe is located at the heart of the shopping street of Vienna. If you are looking a short sit at a cosy place, I would say do not hesitate to feel the typical Italian traditions. You may try the snacks served fresh with an Italian coffee. Depending on the season, you can try the drinks. As you may also enjoy sitting outside, you can stay all day long even with your kids. I suggest for all purposes.

We stopped for lunch here one day and enjoyed seats at a pavement table which was a lovely place to be, soaking up the atmosphere of this very busy shopping street. We were pleased to find a choice of vegetarian main courses. The grilled vegetables with pitta bread were really good and cooked well and my pasta arrabiata was superb with just the right amount of chilli. The waiter was very good -polite and helpful. Prices were fair and we would return here.

Should I write something about the Bar Michele or not? I have been debating this question for some time, read: years. In an effort to be a better, friendlier, more helpful and generally improved person (blame new year resolutions for that) I have decided to add the Bar Michele which had been missing from TripAdvisor so far.For a quick pit stop on a shopping day, this is one of my favorite places in Vienna. It is hard to find a more homely, relaxed, and friendly place on the busy Mariahilfer Straße. You can choose from delicious drinks and nice snacks at reasonable prices.
