"it should be laborious, just a bar, it is not, it is amazing, with what each of every age want after a tomorrow on the hang, each of personal to customers are super friendly, the administration are super friendly, the eating is good and cheap....A large bar that still cramps when it was 5 times as big. the hike on the hill is good and at the end of the night a bit lighter down, unless of course, as we, they live 100yds further on the hill, but this has never stopped us to go and we go, almost every night of our short 18 months working vacation in the village. occasionally some live entertainment and we must say that we have always loved the twister game, although we have never lost the twister game. I love it when the bell and the staff triggered the free dishes. astonishing atmosphere with people of all nationalities who mix and make friends as languages were all one. Obviously, a garderobe with caregiver for motels and lot’s ski/snowboard racks, exterior for the mut. pub mont continues is a Verbier/Ski-ing institutional and must-see."

"The best pasta carbonara and lasagne I have ever tasted as they use fresh pasta. Very good prices. Unfortunately, was quite surprised when it came time to pay the check and I noted I was charged for a full order of lasagne when I had ordered a half-order. When I asked about the charge, the bar tender rudely told me "well, why do you complain now as you ate the whole order? "Not a good way to speak to your clientele!! I had not in fact eaten the whole order, but having never ordered the item there, did not have a reference to know whether I was eating a full or half order. Odd as I had ordered the half order of pasta for my son, which came correctly. Also, I asked for tap water and was instead served a Fr 10 bottle of Evian so buyer beware..."

"A favourite for every visit to Verbier. Usually a lovely walk across the mountain from Ruinettes and then down to Carrefour for great views over Verbier, very attentive service and authentic food. Great outdoor area for a sunny mountain day but also plenty indoors still with views if the rain comes in as it did on our last visit. All the usual favourites like roesti and fondue "

"Went at 5:30pm on a Thursday. No wait for a table, not crowded, perfect for our family of four with two children under 4.5 yrs. They have three main burgers and two children’s burgers. Everyone enjoyed their burgers a lot! The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. The fries were perfectly cooked (crunchy, piping hot, and lightly salted). My wife said her drink was excellent!"

"De passage à Verbier, nous avons approché l'Office du Tourisme pour savoir où aller manger à midi. A première vue, La Pergola était un des seuls restaurants ouverts sur la station à cette époque. Le menu du jour proposait des pâtes gratinées ou une pizza. Nous avons opté pour les pâtes. Service rapide et impeccable de la part du personnel, vu que le restaurant était plein (la distanciation sociale n'est apparemment pas connue dans ce restaurant, vu qu'il y avait une tablée de 10 personnes côte à côte et une autre de huit, absence du masque du personnel) Les pâtes, généreusement servies dans une assiette creuse, était enrobée d'un peu de sauce tomate et de jambon. Le dessus du plat était tellement gratiné, que la couche supérieure était dure, et qu'il n'était pas possible de les mastiquer correctement. Une remarque a été faite auprès de la serveuse qui a dit transmettre au chef. Je ne suis pas pour démolir systématiquement le travail d'un cuisinier, mais là je me pose des questions. Est-ce qu'on se fiche de la tête du client en faisant n'importe quoi parce que l'on est seul sur la place à servir des plats du jour? C'est vraiment dommage. Et pour preuve que ce n'est pas la première fois que ça arrive, en lisant les commentaires, je vois la même remarque il y a un an exactement par un autre client. Pourtant, rien n'est plus simple que de faire un plat de pâtes gratinées; il suffit d'en surveiller la cuisson. Une renommée est dure à faire, mais peu aussi vite être détruite si l'on ne fait pas l'effort voulu. La Pergola semble appréciée par la clientèle et j'espère que les appréciations données sont exactes. J'étais déjà venu dans cet établissement il y a deux ou trois ans et je n'en avais pas un mauvais souvenir. En conclusion, je transmets également quelques lignes au propriétaire du lieu, en espérant qu'il tiendra compte de mes remarques."
