"Went here at the weekend for a meal. We had fish chips which was perfectly presented, sadly the taste didn’t match the appearance. The fish in particular tasted of burnt overused fat and the meal overall was greasy. It was a shame as the beer garden here is absolutely beautiful, much care and work has gone into this lovely area however the taste of the food should match the appearance. However at the prices charged this really needs to be worked on. I will return and try something else, but it won’t be the fish and chips again for certain. Maybe if the fat was changed more frequently and more attention given to the oil they use for frying it would improve things."

"Yesterday, I stopped by for lunch, and it was quite busy! We were seated right away. We ordered the fish and chips and a steak burger, both of which were huge and arrived within 20 minutes, even with the restaurant being so crowded! As always, the food was excellent. The service was very good; the waitress checked in on us to see if everything was satisfactory and later brought us the dessert menu after our main dishes. This is a lovely pub with outstanding food. We’ll definitely be back soon. This was our fifth visit, and each time we’ve tried something different from the menu—everything from steak to lamb to beef for Sunday dinner—and it has always been delightful. We highly recommend dining here, especially with the cozy open fire, and their dog-friendly section makes it even better. You really can’t go wrong!"

"I can only describe this place as a complete and utter shambles. I booked a table for 6pm and was stood waiting for 15 minutes. I had to go next door as it was linked to a take away, to get a member of staff. Met with a disgruntled staff member, who came into what they describe as a restaurant, to be told its not our fault the bell is not working and throws 2 takeaway menus on the table and left for the takeaway next door. I noticed a couple in the corner who had looked like they had a torrid time but stuck with it. With that, I said, this is a joke and we left. Not for couples, definitely not a restaurant, it’s a takeaway playing at being a restaurant."

"my wife and I occasionally make a circular walk from the blackemere craft centre and we always consider a coffee and cake in the old station house. yes, the coffee and cake really taste good its not overpriced. the place has a charm about it, but there are the ladies who make it really a pleasure to visit. my wife and I would like to thank them for how this should be."

"I occasionally stay in Winsford as I have a caravan here and these guys were recommended by the managers on the park after I’d already ordered and eaten from multiple curry’s in the area which were pretty average. I travel a lot so I’ve eaten in a lot of restaurants all over. I can honestly say hands down that this is the best curry house I’ve EVER eaten from. I was honestly gob smacked at the standard the food, considering it was even as a delivery. I’ve eaten at 5* award winning curry houses and hands down, the quality of what I’ve just eaten is crazy. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala chom chom which I’ve never heard of or had and that is now my go to when I’m here. The only downside which I have to say is that they only take cash on delivery, I won’t mark down for this because of the exceptional standard of the food but this is very outdated and I very nearly didn’t order because of this, you can easily get a card machine and pay a small transaction fee. As a business owner myself, I know you have to budget wherever you can but having to get a taxi to a cash point and back again did annoy me somewhat. Other than that, I shall be your new regular customer! Well done."
