However, their attempt at a Tom ka gai although pleasant, was bland without any Chili. I added sweet chilli sauce, and it was certainly nice. Same applied to the green papaya salad, which of course did not have masses of papaya, mainly bean sprouts and carrot, but it did have a wee bit of chilli and some peanut. After adding sweet chilli sauce it was OK. A decent attempt at a low price, suited perhaps to the Swiss unfamiliarity with chilli! The balance of flavours could have been better."
