"I am grateful that there were plenty of tables available at the restaurant, as it was quite busy. Our drinks arrived within a minute or two, followed by our food just 5 minutes later. The portions were very generous, particularly the big breakfast which completely covered the plate. I highly recommend this cafe and will definitely return when in the area."

absolutely brilliant place to dive. today with five other cyclists. eating was a good value for money and the service was very good. if they look forward to revisiting in summer, this location is definitely recommended.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in a quiet village! The Real Cafe has the charming feel of a classic diner. The food was delicious and they are open on Sundays, which is a plus. I highly recommend stopping by for a traditional breakfast experience.

I stopped by to grab some takeout lunch, and the staff were very patient with my son who couldn't decide what he wanted. The baguettes were delicious and fresh, and the restaurant had a busy yet warm and inviting atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.

I really enjoyed my bacon and eggs, but was disappointed that there were no fresh cakes available for my friend who wanted coffee and cake. It would be great to see options like a Victoria sponge, carrot cake, a vegan or gluten-free option, and maybe a flapjack on the menu.

great service and very tasty eating, was very happy to find out that the packages of butter delivered for them is not our from a refrigerator, so they can actually spread it! I hate places that give them the refrigerator. epic breakfast was generous in size and tasted amazing, and they were happy, a normal tomat for tinted

The original Mortimer cafe is a classic greasy spoon, in a positive sense. The new location across from the Co-op is an improvement, offering a wide selection of fresh food, delightful service, and convenient opening hours. Although slightly more expensive, it is worth the price. They also serve the best flat white in the area.
