"we were recently with the groupongutschein at mr. grande. in the evening the weather was so good that we only sat out. so I can't say anything about ambiente the interiors. the service was at least not too slow and also friendly. the bruschetta for two was mediocre - the Rucola salad, which was below the bruschetta as deko, had already seen much better days - the leaves were actually quite pappy. that was all right. pommes and fun with three pieces of meat. the slightly small portion of bark was not necessarily tender - but what did you mention? I personally wouldn't necessarily go back there if I were going to eat nicely. in the whole and certainly not a highlight - but just okay."

eating ok, service is a catastrophe! long waiting times, inattentiveness of the staff, unquestioned to take off.

If you do not expect too much, you can leave the local one.We have chosen the lunch table. the price-performance ratio is correct. The waiter was good laughed and very flash at the thing. Visualizza piatti

went with men and children and can honestly say that it's the worst food I've ever had, my man eating, but kids and I went, I got chickenburger, who was full of cartilage and extremely fat! pommes just caught, worst 60 euro ever spent!

actually, we tried to get to another restaurant. it was full and we landed here. quite empty, but perhaps the service was friendly and eating was pretty good. I can easily say that I would come back here. also children were welcomed, which does not seem to be standard in hamburg.

we have chosen the restaurant due to its rating on yelp. we were deeply disappointed. eating is not special. logistics is a catastrophe. the pasta was punctual, but the 2 steaks were delivered an hour later. standard offer, a free drink. a quick snack against the hungry girls would be the offer. we have landed here with a groupon voucher for a 4-course menu. nice ambiente and delicious food! salat in front, then grilltheke with 3 meats, a little bit sweet and a full of potatoes with tasty. ice cream with chocolate sauce for dessert. to finish coffee or tee, smoother procedure. great experience!

I've been passing with the bus at the grande restaurant in the rodigallee and wondered how to eat. I finally tried it out and it was really fabulous. frankly I had not expected it but the service is super, from the kitchen there was a small gruß in front (in the form of a very tasty sweet soup) and the steak was on the point fried as ordered. I would come back anytime! the restaurant is suitable for smoker as well as for non-smoking and the selection of food is good. Price-performance ratio is also good. good load - try it out!

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
